Anybody in favour of a single shot detailing contest? Detail yer ride an send in only one pic.........we can judge by the no. of likes it receives so it`ll be completely transparent.......winner can get a chance to shake hands with me acha acha yar, winner can receive ummmm a wax or a detailin tool or somthin.....you guys decide the prize, an say if this is a good idea or not.Cheers

I did not use any DA and applied it by hand. THats the best thing about it! A simple application and 80-90% swirls gone! In the next couple of days, I will clay my car and test this product on other panels too. Will post complete and detailed pics in sunlight then

Thats one of the best products that ive ever tested, sadly though used it only twice when i got a free sample of it. But yes it is non abrasive and the cleaning agents of the paint along with the rejuvinators are amazing. I would have been happier if it did actually reduce swirls and not just cover them with the fillers in the lotion becuase they come back VERY VERY soon if the wax coat is not kept upto the mark. I would give it an 11/10 .. lol

Alright ppl, i got a chance to review one of my latest acquisitions, Turtle Wax ICE Synthetic Paste Wax.
An excellent buy, I'd rate it at 8/10. I washed my car with ICE Shampoo, dried off with a chamois. Used Swirlx for Swirl treatment. Applied ICE Polish, n let it sit for about 15 mins. Took it off using the MF tht comes with it. Allowed a curing time of about half an hour. And topped it all off with a cherry/ Meg's Gold Class :P. ICE polish would work great standalone, but if u r really looking for that shine+long lasting protection, then a combo of ICE n GC is the way to go. And i realised that ICE needs at least an hour of curing period before it can be topped off with a GC.

Ok people, after days of waiting on end for a good camera im finally posting pics taken with a plain 5 MP cybershot, no one near me has a DSLR . This car has been in my possession for abt a year plus now but i try take care of it with valid technique and good stuff. It does have few minor swirls now but this treatment (the current one) has gotten rid of em for good. Car was washed with Mothers shampoo, followed by an indoor session of swirl x by hand, followed by 2 layers of mothers hand glze, topped with a layer of tech wax, next day it got 2 more layers of hand glaze followed by topping with ICE Synthetic liquid spray wax. Next day it got 3 layers of mothers 100% carnauba back to back followed by Ice synthetic spray wax. On last day the final coat was done with tech wax. All this while the car remained indoors and it wud get a quick detailing session with mothers show time detailer before daily project began. Tires have STP spray on em. Glass was done with skill craft glass cleaner fluid and interior with ariel water. Though the wheel wells cud still do with more cleaning laikin meri bass ho chuki hay for now. Photo session also contains the famous swirl check/mirror pose. Most of the swirl removal was done by swirl x but the part left was handled very very well by hand glaze though its a masking only. enjoy n do say mashAllah!

Wah jeee, finally with waila time on hand we have Shain Daktar post his ride.......sir yeh 16 course dinner karaingay gari ka to sheesha hi end result hona hai............the method was in itself a treat to read....bass to ho hi jani thi meray bhai.......... .......a little lesson to all those people out there an coming into this thread............it takes time, patience, and skill to pull of hard core jobs............like they say, its not what you use, its how you use it.....love the results, the depth, the glow in the paint.....reflections are bling bling mate......come on detailers Eid is around the corner, loooooong holiday coming up.............Wana see some big projects going on...........pull out yer big guns an get the scene on!!!! Perhaps a meet on the last holiday of eid?? All those in favour say "shinee!!!!!"
