@vague and mani1
Thank you for your reply, i havent been here so sorry for the late reply. and btw congratulation @vague your thread is ever growing and ever helpful. There is one thing, i havent really played around with dojo juice before, used it once or twice but not much, can you guide me on the range and its application. Really want to import some.
@stingray
once again sorry for the late reply. I agree with vague bhai that you should shift to it THOUGH im abit paranoid with the presoak for some reason and i use it with a very high threshold when i really need it but thats just me. I like my traditional setup
@other questions
Someone asked about layering with synthetic wax. I've played upto 3 layers with a syn wax after doing a carnuaba wax and it wasn't difficult at all. There are 2 things you should remember.
Apply thin coats with follow-up, so thin that you might not be able to see them until they haze ( thats how thin they should be in the first place because 99.5% of what you see is taken off with the MF that you use)
The time for the wax from application to being taken off is hardly EVER 2 hours, especially tech wax. Takes a maximum of half an hour even in karachi's humidity at this time of the year, in summers abit more. The finger wipe down test should help you in deciding when to take it off.
As far as how much layering helps. Ive tried layering both carnuaba and syn and ive realised as far as show goes, layering up 2 carnuaba is the best thing you could do to a black car with a DA. but the look doesnt last very long if you dont layer the syn as well. So its essential for me to do 4 which takes up almost 3 days of mine when im in the real mood .. lol.
Enjoy detailing
