Kindly shed some light on sonax white color wax I have ordered one for my other car will post its pics too.

One thing more my detailing guy who is a professional and fixes all imported cars was telling me he will apply brasso on my car it wont cut and the swirls will be gone now my question is wht is this brasso ??

As far as i know Brasso is a metal polish designed to remove tarnish from brass, copper, chrome and stainless steel. How come it wud be used on paint? and that too for swirl removing???

Wow, was offline for 4 days and so much happened...6000 posts...300 pages...V1 in action (on own ride), new detailers in the club...damn missed the action...

what you guys think about this time,

some old wax rasidue still stuck in the nooks,here and there,but how are the reflections this time.

I remember usman said that i would need a better cam but i am sorry for using mobile cam again.

Another lesson learn't

Wanted to see the effect of NOT using a detailer to take off the wax this Sunday and bhai detailer jeet gaya...during the final wipe I clearly felt that the last week's wax off with detailer had left a much better shine...sorta had more depth (if I can describe it correctly)...plus due to the detailer I was facing lesser amount of smudge marks and lesser dust sticking to the car...so from next Sunday Wax will be taken off with the detailer...

Not a very happy man today...

Didn't touch the car on Tuesday (yesterday), was shocked to find a few bird droppings on the hood and a lot of dust on the car yesterday night. So instead of giving it a mid week detailer wipe today decided to give another body wash with shampoo...

Mr. D was aptly given the instructions and shown the correct dosage of the shampoo and the goth mobile was given a soft bath today morning...

Car is looking good...but frankly in my opinion not that great...the wax is shining...but I guess due to the wash the wax enhancer top coat is gone and since this week the detailer has not yet been applied...I CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE...

Plus guys I can clearly see that this week, especially today the dust is getting attracted like a magnet to the car...so wash and wax only is clearly not a solution to a clean car...we need detailers and protectants...as I experienced last week I had a lesser dust problem because the car had received three detailer wipes...

Hats off to Juggi for maintaining a look for more than a week, a look which I have to work on every two days to maintain...but then again Soft 99 can only take you a little way...

@V1...saw your shopping...man I am so tempted to put in the pics of the exotics that I have procured but I'll wait till they actually reach me...

Oh by the way the wash today exposed a lot of artistic swirls in the car...but they are mostly holographic...and not on the main paint surface...so I have graduated from bad swirls to virtual swirls...which is sorta good in a twisted way I guess... right now sporting a BIG ZONG hologram logo as a swirl design on the hood...but only visible under harsh direct sunlight...trying my level best not to inflict any new swirls pur I guess phir bhee kuch na kuch aajatein hain...as long as they are on the waxed coats I know they'll go away...

I normally take off wax through MF, but after that put a coat of detailer/wax enhancer over it. results are much better.

I have done both...found that taking off the wax with detailer gave more depth to the shine...you know that deep wet look. With just the MF this week, I found the shine to be there but that dripping drooling look was somehow missing. BTW I am not using any high end wax just a 730 PKR box of soft 99. Maybe with a premium wax I might not use a detailer...let's see. Always helps to read the directions though. If the wax suggests it then I say do it

and I always leave the car overnight for the wax coat to settle in before I apply the top coat (normally on Monday), currently going through the can of wax enhancer I have as the top coat instead of the detailer and I am pretty happy with it. Doesn't seem to have a very long life but then again I revive the car with a detailer wipe twice a week.

But please remember...almost all good and premium waxes recommend that you leave the coat untouched for 12 hours plus or overnight for the coat to settle in before you let any other product touch it as a second coat or a top coat.

imran bhai , while taking off wax try couple of drops of detailer on mf, i tried it and 2 benifts are taking off process fast and ease and 2ndly its work like stimulator to shine, next day only detailor spray wipe through mf

bhai jan check page #297 for my dulari pics after taking bath with hp19 turtle wax crystal polymer glaze, though its give good results on metalic colours but still my 5 years old dulari skin become shiny and whiter

dilute it like 1 part glaze with 5 parts water after through massage leave car for at least 2 hours for curing ( no need to take off ) than apply sealent wax

I want my car to glow like this by any mean... Is it possible?? my car is chacoal grey civic 2005 and she is repainted from sides... I am not even afraid of repainting it again in order to get my goal and the goal is below picture.. Car and paint experts Pl. help me out...
