Just back in after a very successful VTi ka jalsa...corruption was deeply cleansed in multi stages, and the MOQAF was brought out shining and gleaming...

Now the focus is on the PTI ka jalsa....

After a loot of talk with some very respected members an especially Aamir bhai, Accord 7362.......an with their consent an approval....m posting pics of some of the heavy weights that I cater too, starting with the most recent.....the owner of this vehicle came to me by ref.....we had a little talk an the main concern was swirls.....as you all know there are only two ways of gettin to them, take em out or hide em! An Farooq bhai (owner) just freeted at the sign of paint removal.....so it was set....masking through glazing....an then wax! Reached there at 8 in the morning accompained by @Ahmed_yar....here we start off with the washing...Ahmed was kind enough to take care of the water spraying an all while I went with the shampooin....the tyres were cleaned with a microfibre mitt....dont want to scar the rubber surface

Acha.. now be a nice boy and tell how much it will cost to install a hoist at home? so can we do under carriage......u will get me kicked out of house... i already go secretly and buy car detailing stuff and hide it well.... else if wife finds out how much i spend on these stuff.....then

today i went to mtgomery road on richshaw so that wife gets no idea that i am out and working upstairs..when i came home, i hide the mothers seal n glaze behind the plants and when i was sure that no one will see me, i took it upstairs and hide it in the cupboard.....

This is the greatness of my brother Usman that he discuss in detail with me regarding posting some big guns here, & yes I mean it , he got some F's & P's under his belt :-#. , but he never show's off (JAZAKALLHA Usman indeed we are in different bonding, you are most welcome for anything anytime)

Usman is gem of a guy & brother , just look at his down to earth nature in this thread & look at the way he replied again & again even to a basic question like " what is the difference between wax & polish ".

Just scroll through PW and notice the behavior & attitude of friends who even launch a thread with DIY of "how to change a tire " :-#

@ your highness...your vagueness....aaj idhar Karachi mein IK nay uradiya...aur udhar Lahore mein aap nay...S h i t man I can't even wax the way you have shampooed...Ahmed you are one lucky son of a gun not only to have witnessed this but also being part as a helping hand...and not mention being "model" in the whole exercise. I can only dream about taking out such a look even with dodos and what not...I am not refering to the reflectology I am refering to the minor detailing...the nooks and corners...the neatness of the job...the nafasat....as I said before...sirjee...sara game Karee garee ka hai...and there are no short cuts to it.

@ Accord... very rightly said...Usman is so down to earth...that we all need stuff like these pics on and off to remind us what he truly is masha Allah say...A picture is worth a thousand words...AND HE HAS BOTH....respect sir respect...

I'd also like to endorse your point here about the attitude...this is perhaps one of the only few threads not only on this forum but I guess amongst almost all the int'l forums where I have not seen a single flame war, act of rudeness and the magic four letters RTFF...everyone is willing to take a joke, ready to help irrespective of how stupid the question is...and a lot of credit goes to Usman...since he has no hang ups...atleast I follow his lead and I am sure a lot of us do...there have been quite a few incidents here where I felt like giving a knock on a posters head and telling 'HELLOOOO...did you even bother reading two pages back"...but then this thread is not about that...so I have adapted too. so I would say that not only is Usman making us all better detailers but better human beings as well...and that my friend is an honest compliment

Ok...need a little chronology of events here...

I am assuming you started at 8:30 or something because in 8:50s you are shampooing...

by late 12ish you finished glazing...because you have the reflection pics at 11:56 and 57 but the 50/50 glaze shot is at 12:31...so I am assuming that is the last panel you are doing...

you finished the final wipe...just after 3...

so around 7 hours in total for shampoo, glaze, wax and final wipe....I can understand... Application of dodo...30 mins...wait...30 mins...removal...30 mins...final wipe 30 mins around 2 hours...it adds up....but I couldn't understand 4 plus hours of shampooing and glazing...could you elaborate on this...

btw I am highly amazed at the speedy waxing and final wipe job...I took my time today...took me 40 minutes to apply wax....30 mins from last panel were left as hazing period...60 minutes to take it off (slowly and surely) and then a 40 minute final wipe....Almost 3 hours...AND MINE IS NOT HALF AS NEAT AS YOURS...

hehehehe...btw found a tiny water spot you missed...actually had found four...but sadly the first three turned out to be on my lap top's screen...bugger .... but then I found the fourth one...which is there on the car...actually not pointing out a fault...but was checking to see whether others face the same problem as I do...and happy to point out...YESSSS!!!

you nearly got everything right......the start of the shampoo was around 8:20 ish, now the car was given two washes an two rinses an then dried off, that was a lil contributor.....though the real reason, the glaze I was using is a pro series glaze an pro series stuff needs a lotta concentration an finesse.....we had an electricity issue but Ahmed an me started application by hand.....then Allah ka shukar the gen was powered up an the rotary jumped to life...it took me nearly 15 mins on each section...roughly...like 15 mins for door, 15 for trunk, 20 for the hood......an the glazing you got right as well, the 50/50 correction is on the hood, we did that at the very end....!
