yes, of course shampoo then wax, i also want to get into the stuff but the prices... and more than that its really hard to take some time. so i thought if i could, i'd start with waxing and then get the rest of gear. my car is already 7 years old and condition is very good as compared to average but if i look closely it looks like there is a lot of damage on paint and i've been trying to start something before anything permanent happens.

I'm using formula 1 shampoo, is it any good or do i need better. also suggest me a good wax not too cheap not too... you know

Exactly bro, thats the Speed auto care kit. In karachi its available at T.A.K modifications in DHA phase 2 extention. You can contact Khurram bhai (03219283346). Its custom made formula and kit is imported from Taiwan, which includes shampoo+Wax+tyre dresser+ chrome polish price of kit is Rs:850 (price of my last purchase). Its a must buy for a novice detailer. Its way tooo better than those cheap waxes, but if used with proper knowledge, and with expert hand, it does Real wonders trust me.

PM Imran Hakro...he is using the Speed auto care kit...he can guide you on it...light on the pocket and good on the car... I would stay away from the formula stuff.

Speed Shampoo is much better than Formula1 Shampoo. Chrome cleaner and tyre shiner in speed kit are great. And wax in such price is also very good also creates good shine. I don't remember the page where I reviewed it.
Speed kit is a must buy for a beginner detailer looking for some thing very economical.

all the de-waxing was done by you ustad....! An i found no flaw in that section....secondly u glazed the rear bumper..... dont forget that.....you did a lot of the wax application an spreading.......an then a large portion of the final wipe was undertaken from your hands....so bhai jaaan aap ka kaam bhi koi kam nahin tha........an sadly bhai kay paas paisa nahin hai to get fancy shamansy cams...abhi to beti ki fee pay ki hai school ki......

dear all brothers i spread up do do on merc huge bonut, even i tried best to evenly spreadup but still when took off wax i saw couple of patches , i re-tried and still some patches on new places and at that time i hands up and call 15 ( usman bhai ) for help and he did care of that bount very well and final results were flawless:P:-#

i am not expert in such things just i have rough idea in my mind for small improvment sure if all senior memmbers agree with it.

as per amir bhai "love" is important factor in detailing so may be rough/ hand draw style red hearts as a "i" dot

OR

some sparkling casual hand draw stars ( bling bling )

i like the back ground colour just i was thinking if this logo stiker put on black car than may be this logo not speakout properly.

this is rough idea, sure u are expert u better know what to do

Bhai, it was just a sample....i told usman bhai that lots of improvement is needed in it and he uploaded it.... may be he want people to have a look before and after effect.

Anyways, Usman, sirf stickker say kaam nahi chalay gaa...we want more..... u know what i mean....

1. Ahmed Bhai.... HEARTS instead of "i" dots... that will be toooo much bling bling bling...

2. Background at this stage is not black... it is between blue n black n green.

Jazak allah sir...thanks to your patience and bearing my constant ruts over the phone and giving much needed guidance and most of all encouragement...a long way to go...but I am loving this journey...

pur yeh ahmed ko practical kara aya ja raha hai...yeh baat kuch pasand nahi aaee...waisay between you and me he deserves it as well...he jumped straight into the A league in his first detailing...and with a great job as well...Ahmed paijaan...ub mercedes chohro aur apnee gadee kee bee detailing karo...you didn't do it last week remember...

realy enjoying ur comments mere bhai, tum sab se affection se hogye hai , sab buhat qareebi or apne apne se lagtey ho, i am also new in this detailing thing but yes its true in my very first formal deatiling i applied presoak, shampoo, swirl remover, glaze, wax, detailer wipe though results were not upto standerd due to my wrong applications but still gradually learning from all my brothers here and all reward goes to usman bhai who provide us this plateform for great learning and sharing our experinces

just to share u obsession of this detailing, on recent sunday i planned to detail my muni si alto in detail but went for that merc , back home arround 4:30 or 5 pm , immediately fast wash and simple wax, went to one wedding funtion and on the way back to home at 11:59pm my wife congrate me for our wedding anivercery $ according to her she waited whole day for the same wish from me so bhai this detailing thing not safe for personal life, becareful;) and allways remmber such important dates and even put allarm in cell phone even buy gifts in advance as at 11:59 pm u cant get any gift for wife:P and at 12:01 am she refused to get gift as date become 26 dec:(

as far as suggestions are concerned, i think it should have a watermark outline of a car, as in the logo of pakwheels.

i experince dodo on merc and i tell you its very high quality wax and need very less amount of wax to spreadout on big pannel so i am sure you can do about 60 applications with ur one jar.

( tip from usman bhai apply dod on swril area and leave overnight and remove next morning than see results )
