So maybe the Sunday after that...4ish is a good time...meet up in defence (I volunteer my office...do a little skyping with V1) and then head out to Devil's point for some photography and then round up with an after maghrib early dinner at the phase 8 karahi places...

imran bhai yes its good idea u also arrange similer gtg in karachi at same time , date and as usman bhai said earlier can synchronize both meetings through skype etc

you and omar both are in karachi why not u plan ur cars detailing togather, its realy fun and learning from each others.

presoak is megic but i dont think its need in every wash, i think once a month enough to keep ur engine bay clean, may be first time u need some extra time however in followup washes will take just couple of minuts to spray and wash.

u r right about prea-soak that it souldnt be used very often, but i give a complete wash to my car in once a month (under the car, interior, exterior, engine area bla bla) so it can be used once a month or thrice in 2 months.

I suggest the 15th of jan for the gtg...as 8th is cutting too close for me...

as far as doing a detailing session together is concerned, you are more than welcome to join me anytime. However, the only reason why I haven't pushed it is because, detailing has it's major limitations at my place, because my drive is thin and long...sure it can fit in 6 cars but the space on the sides is tooooo cramped. I get around 2.5 feet space on each side after parking the car...so it's not exactly a sukoon wala session, especially when you are doing the sides and the interior...THE ONLY GOOD THING IS THAT I GET SHADE ON IT ALMOST THE ENTIRE DAY.

My office on the other hand can handle 10 cars at the same time...parked side by side...inni jaga hai...but ONE MAJOR PROBLEM...because it's west open and has no buildings nearby (only houses and empty plots)...I GET HARDCORE SUN FROM 9 IN THE MORNING TO 4 IN THE EVENING...so not at all the place to do a full session.

But you are more then welcome to join me...however, I would recommend that for this wait till feb or something...I will be getting some stuff on this trip BUT my REAL SETS OF GOODIES are arriving in end Jan and Mid Feb...I am sure you would want to check them out in person...and I don't think you would mind trying them out in a little cramped place

i do these sessions early in morning (6:00 am or 7:am max), since i live in a flat so my ride is parked out on road. and its the best time to be in detailing "kachhas" unlike u all people doing sessions in covered area in car porches.

As far as less space is concerned, its no issue, or we can do it at ur office place in evening. anyday u say, i 'll be saying "Roger Sir"

And yes i'll be more than happy to try ur goodies together, indeed my "Meguair's Ultimate new car care kit" will be arriving in February end.

It all reminds me k, bachpan mein apni "newly bought dinky cars" apney doston k ghar le jatey they dikhaney k liyey aur sath khailney k liyey, and now that we have grown up, its time to take Car Care products to friends and play together

Thanks for the appreciation:),Himmat ki kya baat hai yaar,keeping the car clean inside out needs the patience and consistency in such a dusty atmosphere.
As i already said in a post lately that i dont wipe off the dust untill complete wash,well for windows and screens i use fluffy duster untill the next wash but leaves the body.
This car is five years old now.I am not challenging anybody on such a thread,i know every one here is detailing freak:).

I know I know karna hai...but the reason why was I quite last time was that bhai 25th ko to Karachi jam hoa wa tha....and then I am flying out of the country with the family coming Friday Inshah Allah...so won't be around this weekend. Coming back next weekend but 8th would be cutting a bit too close for a gtg...kids will be missing two days of school...so really do not know how the 8th Sunday would go (plus will be detailing the car after two weeks of dirt...nopes I am not touching the car this week...out of detailer )

Main use is for waxing.....an yes it can be used with any variable speed drill machine....you wouldnt want to touch yer car with a consistent speed drill, otherwise you`ll be going :o when you see the surface after a good sessin.!
