OHHH man this detailing thing really made me crazy, did slept from last 30 hours, did my night shift, washed my car, and brought it at Vague parlor, and he now after cutting job he put that MILK on my car everywhere sari mahanat pa dood phar dia anyways still in process, work is going, meet tayyab CH today boy nice meeting ya again

i traveled one whole day in sonata, though car was full of facilities and fuctions, looks very stunning but i felt not as comfort on bumpy or uneven roads compare to our civic;)

Had a great meet with Amir at the airport today...lovely meeting you...was more like meeting a long lost friend rather than somebody for the first time...

I'll just post the pics and leave the write up this time to the only other Karachi participant who took out time and came to the airport...RAGING RAVEN...thanks bro...and he was actually there before me and bang smack on time...otherwise mein nay to ghaynta late ho kar Amir bhai ko khuar kara diya tha

So here are the pics...some of the pics are outside khi airport McDonalds...me, Samir (Raging Raven) and Amir and some are of the Goth (at probably the worst time of daylight for inspection)...

Sry cldnt reply earlier. Getting down to business...its a 2010 model honda city..white in colour. Was not kept with extra special care in its earlier days, even experienced a few dry rubs :P...but has been regularly waxed for the past year i wld say. The shine is fine but it has swirls especially on the horizontal surfaces...

My bad, this forum has problems sending me e-mail updates even though I am subscribed.

Try this, get a high quality microfiber and Meguiars Ultimate Compound, dab a little on the microfiber until it absorbs it (your only using the tip of the microfiber and your index finger for polishing), use a bit more so that the microfiber doesn't allow any more in (This step is called pad priming).

Then using concentric circles start polishing one panel at a time, do a bit by bit. Your hands are going to get tired and so will your patience but it will be all worth it in the end. Use water as lubrication if you feel the polish is drying out, apply more polish and change the piece of microfiber your using every 10 cm by 10 cm square.

You will have to wash and clay the panel before polishing it, this is the only way to truly get swirls. After you polish you will need to put a sealant or wax on the specified area because polishing removes all protection.

Give me 2.5 months and I'll tell you what I am blabing on about:P.

Hi there friends. Hope all of you are doing well and enjoying detailing. First, A happy Val's day to all of you.

Now, as u people know better than I do, that:

Clear Skies - Bird !@#* = A Detailer.

and today is a clear sunny day and my day off from uni. :D. therefore, I got my hands on another car in my home, a white civic Exi 2004. It was indeed lucky for her as she remains usually neglected due to the daily harsh routine. :-#

To mention, this was the only waxing job in over 10 months. Yesterday, I washed her up with formula 1 wash and wax shampoo and then applied Carnauba wax.

Today Again, I shampooed her and then topped up with carnauba again. I was surprised to note the effort I had to use for buffing the wax off. My other cars are usually waxed every week so they don't lose the waxy touch. But after trying it on civic, my back hurts a lot.

Anyways, Sharing some pictures. Taken from an Iphone camera. I think the two day process was pretty well.

@V1 sir, Evaluation needed. See if there is any BUT...

P.S. Can anyone define an AAMIR SHOT for me?

Bhai jee,,,,,effort ki daad to mai deta hoon, a car thats not been waxed for months at an end is very stubborn to deal with first of all, heck of a job you pulled off......MashAllah car looks pretty decent....the reflections are good, could do better, for a two stepper they are good, some depth would be gracious, but then again considering its never seen some tlc....good stuff daktar!
