This is another way of doing it without 2 bucket method and looks to me more safe.

the car cover used in last picture of this post?
I personally think a car cover of a soft cloth is better than a leatherette one,what are your views over car covers.

@ skill yup but the cloth 1 should not be heavy the 1 in last is pic is quite old il buy new the gud 1 comes with like thin layer of foam sort of material facing the body of the car to protect it from scracthes

Sir,dont you think even a foam would be little harsh on paint surface( because the dust is always present in our local atmosphere) than a soft cloth.Well once umer bhai just gave me a hint of 2000 us dollar wala car cover,i didnt inquire him again after looking at the price.

I am searching for an appropriate cover since long but unable to satisfy myself untill today because the car parking, i am using currently, due to some construction works at home is in a commercial area,its a indoor parking but still due to less usage of the car,there is always dust over the body after 3/4 days like this;

what to do in this situation?
What i do is only peel off the apparent sheet of dust from the windows with a duster and leaving the paint surface as it is untill the next proper wash which is annoying driving the car in such a state with heavy dust on the body.

A day before yesterday i tried Dabbing too,like took some 7/8 mfs and overlaping it into a 6 inch squre,then softly dabbing it onto the surface of the body panel by panel in the meanwhile changing the directions of cloth whenever i felt the cloth changing the color(i used white ones),then a second dry dabbing again over the first attempt,when i saw there is so little traces of dust left over the body,used a detailer, to wet the 3rd mf with,kept on dabbing with the wet mf untill i felt no dust on the panels and the took another mf, sprayed again the detailer on it, and wiped the panels,at the end used a new cloth again to final dry wipe.
Though the car was in supreme shine again but first of all its a bit risky and secondly a bit time taking effort too thats why i am looking for some good car cover which could not harm the paint surface.

it feels really amazing when your 4hr detailing sessions ends up in a total disaster :@

yeah guyz...detailed the ride with utmost love...cleaned the tires up2 my satisfaction ...shampooed the body with turtle ice twice cuz it was hell messy due to rain n stuff (ice shampoo didn't de-waxed at all)....dried it using clean MF...i literary take 30+min just to dry as i soak each n every small hole till last drop is in the MF cuz i hate water trail drooling down when i ride....next came the waxing....i was already 3hr+ into detailing an according to my mum it was enough !!! as i started to apply wax my mum called me inside again n again just after getting done with the hood n moving forward i dropped my only applicator pad :@ made me really mad !!! my mum said its nothing just clean it with a cloth n ur good to go & i was looking like n saying in my heart that mum it will still contain the tiny dust particles which we cannot see... !!!!
any ways then i thought why not apply the rest with bare hands though i havent done this act of bravery b4.....without thinking any further i jumped into the wild
applied little amount of Megs Deep Crystal in my hand, moistened my hand with it n started apply it gently n evenly...with thinnest layer possible....it was looking good n i was happy haapy....took me around 30 min to apply it to the whole car....then started removing with the oldest wax panel first...did finger swipe on every panel b4 removal....then started my nightmare there were streak marks all over.....dont know why this was happening & i was out of stock my detailer spray too !!!! made me go mad after all this time...huh....didnt tried any more tricks as i didnt wanted any more trouble...dressed the tires using armourALL tire gel....didn't took any pics an went away
started at 8 pm ended at 12midnight....with running nose n fever n wet clothes....no sui gas n electricity :@

Sir certain kind of polishes require intense heat and friction in order to gell in with the paint surface...this does not mean that you go and ragrofy the MF next time because when you do that, you can actually produce too much heat suddenly and end up burning through your paint. Also a lot has to do with the weather, currently Lahore is humid due to rains...and that is why this problem. With a DA, your liquid wax should not have given any problem, but with your margalla, you should not risk giving it extra rubs.

The solution was a detaler but since you were out of it...water could have served as well. The next time you face this problem and are out of detailer, just dampen your MF in light water and then dry taking out the wax. You'd be surprised at the results and how easy it becomes...

Raja bhai, Mashallah nicely done.. the paint job is good Masha'Allah and your efforts on this car is speaking in terms of glow and reflections.. Good job.. Baki bhai tyres per bi koi shoe polish maar laini thi.. a good shiny wheels does add a great look on overall car, so for this purpose.. cheap totka is "Cow soap" .. cow soap has so called oils which enrich the rubber and thus is becomes blackish ..

sir colleagues they, multinational kay luxury trips they...SUV at your disposal, staying in PC attrium wing, executive lunches and dinners...people waiting on you hand and foot...ah sir...enjoyed Lahore tremendously for a couple of years...and not to mention models calling you every minute and wanting to take you out for a meal or coffee...

Sir try the Armor All tyre foam...you'd be amazed at how amazingly it fights off mud...Sir if you look at my Amir shots from the GTG at Khurrams place...check the Goth's tires out...the pic is after the car went into extreme dirt and village type kachee road between goats and cows and what not and then it was parked in a kacha maidan for like good 15 minutes...get the smaller can for 175 PKR to try it out.
