Sir certain kind of polishes require intense heat and friction in order to gell in with the paint surface...this does not mean that you go and ragrofy the MF next time because when you do that, you can actually produce too much heat suddenly and end up burning through your paint. Also a lot has to do with the weather, currently Lahore is humid due to rains...and that is why this problem. With a DA, your liquid wax should not have given any problem, but with your margalla, you should not risk giving it extra rubs.
The solution was a detaler but since you were out of it...water could have served as well. The next time you face this problem and are out of detailer, just dampen your MF in light water and then dry taking out the wax. You'd be surprised at the results and how easy it becomes...
