Car Care and Detailing Dreams

Bros, I need some suggestions... As most of my bros know that I've been using low end products uptill now. But, I am done.

I plan to get myself an entry level detailing kit, inshAllah.

At first I had plans to buy meguair's or mother's but then, I thought that I would never like to miss any necessary step in detailing...

So, I need the following:
-good wax
-shampoo
-swirl remover
-interior detailer
-plastic protectant, as to use on headlights etc
-compound polish

Please add something I missed or tell me the things which I don't need from the above list.

I thought to buy the turtle Ice kit but I would always love to have xxxpert suggestions from my friends.. Thanks in advance.

gave silverado a bubble bath today as i bought her new shoes today and after cleaning them for like 5 times today ive finally achieved in making them shine and putting an end to the khushki on the tyres...... oh btw the tyres are yokos ES100 205/60 r15....

No detailer spray, no wet wipe, nothing done in last 5 days, since it was detailed.

Aoa Fellas!! I see all of u are doing great and detailing happy...

Well, first to share bit of my detailing jobs with yu people... This is about my Exi 2004, shared once before over here. Since then, I've been trying not to let go a single chance of giving her a wash and wax process.

Uptill now, according to my own observation, the condition has somehow improved a bit.

Shared pics are as of friday. Few in the morning, then during day time and finally of he evening (the bit noisy phots.. :()

The pics will do rest of the jibber jabber about the car... Please do comment if you feel any change, any areas I need to perfect etc etc...

Sorry for the dirty tyres. was totally out of energy due to a full week of Augmentin DS 625mg... but the keera won't die even with that...

BTW, can anyone tell which part of the car has undergone a repaint??? :P:P

Okay the way I recall...you are good with pastes...stick to pastes as your first stock up...

Wax...3M perfect it...I am not recommending GC here as GC requires surface prep and we need to get you into that first...

CLEANER Wax...you need to step up and get into the surface prep game...get yourself a Megs cleaner wax...not so heavy on the pocket either

Shampoo...get Armor All or ICE...

Swirl remover...well you dont really need it...you can get rid of light swirls with Megs cleaner wax and for the heavy ones you can use compound...and then maintain it with the cleaner wax

Detailer....you forgot this...Armor all is good and turtle platinum is good...read my post on detailers posted on 25th of this month for more info

Interior Protectant...I use Megs NXT tech interior protectant...works really fine...

Plastic cleaner for headlights...use a detailer...unless your lights are totally messed up

Compound...I guess V1 will guide as to which compound should you play around with at this point in time...

Glaze: again, you forgot this...get V1 to help you out...but for the time being cleaner wax can work as well....

There are few things more...but if you currently just stick to a cleaner wax and a good follow up coat with lets say 3M perfect it...you are good to go...control these two before you add in more stages...

Oh yes...a tyre gel....for matt finish go for Armor All tyre foam and for glossy...go for megs endurance gell....

Khurram bhai,i didnt buy this because i have different brands in my kit already but i was estonished too when i saw the price tag, cause several times it is discussed here about speed wax for 600 PKR in KHI,and the price tag on the prod here was also 600,i did little nego with him as i am one of his customers here though not well known to him but as soon as given him some reffs,he was ready to give me at 475 PKR.
Actually he belongs to some foreign country and a couple of years back he established his own mega store only for add-ons no replacement parts of any kind like engine,chases or gear parts even no engine oils.
And the meguiare cleaner wax i baught from him is 100% same as i checked online after chating with faizan bhai.

i see,sir it was not 250 ml each bottle,it was aprox about 110 ml lequide in each bottle:),and price tag of 600 is justifed now:)

when i asked him for discount after buying goods of about 2000 PKR value,he offered me 100 discount on speed kit means 500?i judged from his obedient behavior towards me that i will easily get more discount of atleast 25 rs.
