But after a verrrrrrryyyyyyyyy long time i sat with somebody who drives this fast and with this much control over the car, superb Amir Bhai, and what can i say about Usman Bhai's driving, he dropped me off home once in 5mins exact from DHA Z block to Zahoor Elahi Road, and that day he was driving a 1.3L corolla with different set of tyres and how swiftly he was tailing the 1.5L steermatic, AWESOME..Both drivers awesome, and all the passengers, well lets not go there LOL;)

JazakAllah jee, for acknowledging our other taaaylants as well! But Aamir bhai was the better driver that day! Hands down!

experts please help
i have 1998 indus corolla in black colour. the paint is totally genuine excluding the bumpers. as you know that black colour tends to lose its charm or in other words "shashka" over the time. i need to restore the original glory of black colour of my car, help needed in this matter!! also the car has gained some deep and some light scratches over the time, how to get rid of them?
i have another car, 2007 lancer in charcoal grey colour, i need to get the maximun "shashka" out of its colour, which detailing item should i use? it has some scratches too and i want to get rid of them as well, senior members please help me in this regard.
last but not the least, where can i find microfiber in islamabad, the best one?

gustakhi maaf from all the pros.

Turtle Wax black box is the one stop solution of all (or many of) your detailing needs for a black car. buy it and it pretty much explains it self on how to use it.

as the pros on this thread have mentioned time and again, there is no short cut to restore the 'shashka' (other than giving a call to V1). you will need to buy the following:

1. A good car shampoo (like armor all)

2. a good cleaner carnauba wax for surface preparation (turtle wax, mothers, etc)

3. a good glaze+sealant (i dont know whether i am right or wrong in this one, the pros will answer better)

4. a good carnauba wax to provide necessary oils to your car which will then give the color the depth u desire (turtle wax, mothers step 3, gold class, dodo, etc) i would advise to start with medium end but quality products and then escalate to the more higher end stuff.

5. a synthetic wax for the final top coat to get that shine u desire (again, many options like mothers synth, turtle ice series, NXT, etc)

6. a good detailer spray for mid week wipes, this is very important (turtle wax platinum, armor all, megs, etc)

7. a set of mircofiber cloths for cleaning the car, dont use any other type of cloth to avoid creating further swirls.

P.S. u may need to clay your car, for that purpose, you can get turtle ice clay kit, which is recommended by many on this thread and u can see its results some 20-30 pages back.

our senior in detailing usman bhai v1 is now a days not well so most probably its reason of not any responce to you.

well i would recommend black box by turtle for ur black car
this is complete detailing box for black colour and u can seach this thread for its reviws and pictures, its excellent product specialy for couple of years old black ride. i am not sure about its current price however it would be between rs2600 to 2800

for ur charcol ride recomend u meg gold class wax price would be arround rs2000 to 2100 but be sure about orginal one as now a days some copies also roaming arround
if ur budget allow than also buy any good detailer spray
armorall easily avilable at hyper star or metro @rs550

apart from these u can buy any good car shampoo, turtle ice shampoo in 1 liter bottle is good one @rs 900 to 1000 or armorall shampo is good and economical choice
couple of micro fibers

let start from here and than gradually u can source other stuff like tyre shiner and interior protectants etc

oh han acha yad dilaya ahmad bhai, interior protector, tire dresser or chrome polish to main bhul hi gaya ... in 3 may, tire dresser sab se imp hai, no such skill needed, just wash the tires, spray the foam and witness the glory !

ahmad bhai jan ki amaan paun to arz karun k kya unprepared surface or new detailer k liye GC jesi expensive carnauba lena theek hai ? or one should start from a medium quality thing like turtle or speed car care kit.

and yes, i forgot to mention, aliusman, u can find all this stuff probably from:
New Dubai Autos, I-8, Markaz, Islamabad.

my 2 cents,for your lancer Ahmed bhai advised you already:)
For your rolla,as its 98 and i have a 06 black ride which is also suffering from swirl fever:P,i hope your ride must be more ill:Pthan mine cause of the factor of its age,it might need a little cutting job,masking swirls over relatively new rides is a bit easy but then 14 years old paint might be in need of cutting,once your paint comes back to origional shine after cutting,you would need to maintain it with meguiars,GC and NXT waxes as per other member's experience on that,my previous experience on black paint is with blackbox,as told by the RR and Ahmed bhai and here i second them,you will not need any thing except BB cause it has three components like a cleaner wax,a carnuaba blend wax and detailer:)price is 2700 in lhr.

hahaha sameer yar frankly speaking i overlooked lancer make year:P, as you said and skill bhai mentioned sure for such old car need surface prepration

well its all depend on budget, in my view gold class is easier in application for newbies instead of turtle ice syn or trtle caranuba wax, however if proper thin application of turtle ice syn than its very very good wax specialy for such old paint works as its leave good trasparent sheet on car surface and hide many minor imperfections of paint surface and also long lasting than gold class + point is less chances ofdoo numberi in turtle
