AOA gurus
I hope and pray that u all will be doing well. I need help of u seniors and gurus regarding a small problem which I faced today. Some kid or may be some grown up adult (not sure) has drawn 2 lines on the hood of my car while it was parked. I tried to rub it with a cloth but it will not go away. so before testing anything else on it I though I should present this case here in this thread and act as per the instructions of detailing gurus.

slide ur nail over the scratches, does it slide over them or get stuck?

just did the nail test and the result is that nail slide over them and does not get stuck.

Some days ago my car was parked outside and a road was being constructed . Now when I waxed my car I found out that it has tar particles all over it and the surface has become really rough What should I do now ?

get ur rear end over to my place some day , ull need to clay the paint to get rid of that overspray, if u r lucky it can be removed with liquid clay otherwise clay bar,

@dms those scratches can be buffed away using a cutting agent like meguiars scratch x

Finally went through the last few pages as i was not much active due to some tight routine in lhr .. Reached isb on sat morning and straight away had to go to office .. Sunday was a full rest day ..
@ ahmad bhai :- inshAllah will use dodo some day (Allah itna da ) . but pocket is mostly empty these days as have some other family priorities to deal with

Hello friends.I need a little suggestion.In a few days I will be sending my Civic for complete denting and bhatti paint job.Only the exterior will be recoloured.The previous color will be entirely removed.The color I have chosen is dark purple metallic.What I want to ask is after the paint job I don't want the painter to apply cheap polishes on the fresh paint.Which polishes should I go for?Please explain in steps.

Bhai jan, since you have answered that your nail does not go through, rub some scratch remover on it with a light finger, clean the residue off, and fill it with wax, leave it overnight, buff it off in the morning! Should be gone!

Alright, so alot of discussion going on about Pressure washer and many members PM'ng me for the Karcher pictures.. But on request of Hassan (jazzy) i have recorded videos :P.. I just compressed these videos upto 70% so no more HD videos, sorry about that, but still you can see what this machine can do.

Easy wash, It can remove dust/mud easily without rubbing from hands/cloth.

Sure man i got it from sara autos thats in montgomery road cant find it else where and i got the rest of the mothers stuff from the shop right next to it.
I must say goldcalss is some great stuff u would love it

zaidi, no worries brother... har cheez main koi na koi behtari hoti h
and dont worry will go to the metro isb and have a look at what is available there
and a lot of stuff IS available
and wait for some months and you will have a surprise

KSE nice to make and share some videos
i hate to waste water, but i know once i get my hands on some really good protestants (wait and see :)), it will be a lot easier to clean the car
but atleast for me it does not look to be a value for money item, though i believe it uses less water then traditional pipe method. (may be down the road of detailing i will have one good one :P)

by the way, at metro there is an extension available for the wand (infact its a replacement wand), that has a head which can be twisted into different angles upto 90. I believe if you have a pressure washer and dont have that angled head, one should buy that extension, will be a lot easier at many places. it was around 1k price tag, if i remember correctly
