what the, how, isnt it considered distilled water?

it is not considered IT IS DISTILLED WATER otherwise it would have rust out the whole AC Compressor.. i still remember in my a levels school same water is used for chem practicals

because during condensation it soaks up acidic minerals from air and while running through system it absorbs metals mostly from weld joints; lead, copper, zinc etc.. not to mention the organic hazard from bacteria/algae growth if anyone decides to drink

can any1 make a video drying their ride?
i sort of moved the cloth along everything but very lightly n after drying i noticed that if one looks closely you can see water drop lets dried off :mad:

or maybe i should have done it twice to leave really small droplets but since its waxed so water drops off itself n it starts drying quickly b4 even i reach many parts :S

ah well,atleast its much cleaner than b4,since it rained last night n it had fat water drops dried off on it which were really ugly but now its all clean

today tried tap water n damn em used to pressure motor's pressure,tap water's pressure was so slow that i wouldnt go for tap water again unless maybe if i got some spray gun etc

@chaudry, these water marks are due to hard water. I am facing the same issue as well. So far only a treatment of swirlx worked for me to get rid of them.

Well may be u r right but the ac take the air from upper side of the room and air in the room is not so dirty or even have acidic minerals from the air we breathe ? most of us dispose this water to the plants it should be hazardous to dispose this water to the plant the same bucket is used for collecting the water for about 2 - 3 months it do not have single bacteria/algae born in it. then it can be used for washing the car ..

SwirlX is the least abrasive of the compounds. It's used to treat minor swirls, this is why I opted for it. And the car in question is a 2003 Honda City. The vinegar 'totka' is only meant to wash off the stains from windscreen. Why would you even suggest it to be used on painted surface? It will completely destroy the clear coat. Please refrain from such suggestions, there are members here who are new to detailing and they would follow any absurd suggestion posted on the forums.

the damp conditions in air cons do promote algae, but algae i dun think can do anything to a car in such an insignificant amount. Acidity is possible but ac water doesnt get in contact with as much carbon di oxide as rain water does. It may be insignificantly acidic.

@ chaudhry, you could use swirl X as faizan bhaiyaa mentioned, or what you could do it use a damp mf to give a wipe to the pannel before applying wax, this helps a lot as well. I do the same, water these days is coming alittle hard, it dries to leave behind salt and what not residue, and the marks look horrible, what i do is before applying wax to a pannel i wipe it with a damp mf and then apply wax to that pannel, even after removing the wax give it a light damp mf wipe.

If that does not help the issue, you could either use swirl x or get mothers step 2, sealer and glaze, that is even lesser abrasive than swirl x.

Vinegar is acidic in nature, even though it is a weak acid, it would eventually cause the paint to become yellow with time, im sure no one wants that, it should not even be used on the windscreen INMHO. what say faizan?

Yawar bhaiyya, fully agreed! Vinegar is to be used on glass in a very diluted form in extreme cases when everything else fails. Here is wht I do to remove water stains from the glass:
I use turtle's glass polish and apply it with my 'khasi' biloxi. It's similar to using a cutting compound on a painted surface. Glass polish is an excellent product to revive old glass.
I have tried damp mf wipe and glaze to remove stains, but it still leaves tough stains. So I opt for either swirls or cleaner wax with biloxi.
Vinegar even in a very diluted form should never b used on painted surface!

They are the nastiest stains which any painted surface could encounter.
I start off by using cleaner wax on them. If this doesn't suffice, I move onto liquid clay. It always works!

faizan bhaiyya explained the best of solutions, if still they are a B itch, then the best is to use a clay bar, last resort.

LOL at khasi biloxi, chalo as long as its serving SOME purpose its fair enough. I just came in from a detailing session, couldnt take any pics though, half dead because of the garmi, silver lining of water after washing helps a lot, took me 5 minutes to dry the car without any stains, and tomorrow inshALLAH i would apply a second coat of GC, will follow the little secret we once talked about of taking the car out in the sun

after the drying stage i gave a verylight wipe to some areas with that wet meg's water magnet,it might have helped a little but still those stains were there but i think pre wax of black box helps in removing them,I GUESS
or maybe the wax itself

n btw i have some really agressive water stains dried on side mirrors which are not going anywhere though i have got used to them now but still can i remove them?
usually whenever i wash the car both mirrors are close,towards the windows so i dont wash them or dry them (that is,the mirrors inside)

I presume that a MF and a water magnet are both different things, try using a damp micro fiber, gently try to rub them off, if still no use then the swirl x or the sealer and glaze, dont know the price of swirl x, but i got my sealer and glaze 2 years ago for 950 rupees, it wont cost more than 1500 even now.

If still its of no use then use a clay bar, in fact i would ask you to use a clay bar instead of using anything else, clay bars are meant for this, whilst swirlx and glaze are for something else.
