I did not buy it got it as gift from friend:P since a month there is a construction going on my place so its parked under the tree outside since a month so tree

bhai jan, liquied clay is very mild and good for de-waxing only, u should try solid clay bar, few options easily avilable in pakistan i.e turtle refine and shine and mother set also avilable here.

these set comes with clay bar and detailer spray and directions of use mention on every pack, after claying you should use wax or if u wish to follow whole proper process than pls ref page #263 and post #52411

Ahmed bhai, my feeling is that the lubricant that comes with the refine and shine kit evaporates too fast and doest not provide enough lubrication. i switched to my homemade detailer spray after claying just one panel.

did you try it yet? what is your opinion?

jazakallha for feedback, i will use this on coming sunday inshallha than revert you feedback and if require will also use home made detailer.

well now a days very hot weather and even car stands in shed still car body hot so there may be a reason for evaporating fast, so best timing for such process now a days is early morning

I've been parking my Corolla outside my office everyday. No idea how, but it's starting to get a lot of scratches.

They are minor scratches, which you can't see unless you look in bright light. Also, there seem to be black marks - ones that usually come from the rubber handles of a motorbike.

Anyways, I've tried to remove these by using brake oil (which has worked for me 90% of the time), but they just won't go.

What can I do to remove these scratches and marks? I've been looking at compound polish, but I don't know if I should use it, because my car is less than 2 years old and it still shines MashAllah.

throw away the brake oil, it can kill your paint. use a glaze to fill the scratches, it will not only hide all those scratches but will give your car's paint depth and gloss.

Brother nerver use brake oil on car paint any more! it is harmful to the paint .. to remove bike scratches i.e. rubber handles little scratches can be removed using good rubbing compound.

and the scratches u r talking about that are only visible in light are known as SWIRLS. these are caused by the cloths u use for cleaning the car or DUSTING the car. The wrong cloths includes usually old, harsh, hard bad quality towels or clothes which scratches the paint ..

to cure the swirls:
u need swirl remover to remove the swirls which is little abrasive to car paint .

to Hide the swirls:
u need good glaze to hide the swirls..

to avoid further swirls:
u need to use microfibre towels for cleaning, drying or buffing the car..

and never go for car wash in stations any more the are the main cause of heart attacks to car lovers :P..

Welcome to the thread bro.....very nice wash an wax you did, now.....since you mentioned that this is a professional detail.....Ive got some questions...
an before those questions, Ive got a humble request.....do post cars here that you detail, but please do not use the thread for commercial activity! JazakAllah beforehand! Now on with my questions....remember, these are related to a pro detail....

Did you use warm water or tap water ? I think platinum series wash works with warm water, it needs a certain temp to actually activate it.

yer lettin water dry too much, this will enivtably lead to water marks in the long run, gota rinse faster

Those my brother are half clean wheels....the encircled areas are still with grime.......hope these small pointers besides the ones ROBM has put up will aid you in doing a more perfect detail!

Answer 1. I used tap water. But as direction on the bottle of car wash. I mixed it in the water which is little warm due to summer temp.

Bro, you seriously need some ground work done on detailing...please read the flow chart an basics.....an for sake of detailing....DO NOT RUB BRAKE FLUID ON YER CARS PAINT!!!!!
