Bro, MashAllah! Very clean engine detail...though I`d advise you not to use such a harsh substance.......these abc n xyz cleaners have a repute for containing some very harsh chemicals that might end up rapidly eating through your rubber an plastic parts! So once in a blue moon is good! Cheers!

Thanks for the advise bro but it was written in the descriptions that "It doesn't effect the rubber or plastic parts" ..
But I'll be careful in the future.

Overkill in your reference is "any effort that seems to go farther than would be necessary to achieve its goal"

So if you have two different cleaner waxes, using one would do the same job as using both one after the other, so the later is an overkill

last time i did wax the whole car first and i only applied extra gloss on the trunk and roof. i miss quoted
this time i waxed the whole car and applied extra gloss on the whole car. will go to saca tomorrow looking forward to buy turtle ice synthetic.

save your money for a good product don't buy turtle ice synthetic not much difference just carry on with metallic and extra gloss and save money Megiuars gold class carnauba. have u seen its result difference which anzaidi showed .?

only reason for ice is that it can be applied on all surfaces like trims and etc
if not ice then Platinum series wax and scratch and swirl remover and maybe if cheap then clay bar too

@Elien no matter you use Turtle ICE Wax or Mothers or Meguairs of DODO. if the surface/base of your car is not prepared properly for wax then even a 20,000 worht wax cant give u results.

Was absent from the thread for a few days .. Reasons are as follows :-
- Was busy in Couz marrige
- I, my self got engaged
- and was again busy in other couz marriage ..

Back to business .. Product used .. 1 coat GC and Ice synthetic to seal .

I am planing to do another coat of GC and than deep crystal and than seal it with ice synthetic ...

how do you guys apply rubbing compounds or polishes? I got Ultimate compound and ultimate polish..should i get new applicator pads or microfibre will work?

Its not the colour which attracts the dust, its usually an electrical charge (very small usually) that is set on the car due to the insane amount of friction we generate while applying and removing detailing products. It can usually be solved by making your LSP (last step product) a detailer like the meguiars quik detailer etc. After applying the wax or whatever you want give a wipe down with one of these. Some people even say that a spray water bottle with a microfiber does the trick but havent tried that myself.

The colour of the car usually corresponds to how much dust you actually can perceive on the car due to the colour contrast that is achieved.
