Got some goodies from abroad
1. Optimum No Rinse
2. Optimum Opti Seal

Washed the car using double bucket method with Turtle shampoo. Used Sencan rotary buffer with farecla compound. As this was first time, the rotary was almost flying out of my hand. First too dry then too wet. Managed to finish the bonnet only. Some spots / marks were still left, but as this was first time, I did not want to take the risk of ruining the paint.
After the compound washed the car and applied Optimum Opti Seal on the bonnet. Next day washed the car again and applied Mothers Synwax on whole car.
From next weekend if I get the time, I will start doing the rest of the car.

Guess the color of the car.

Bro, by different areas I mean the repainted parts only, a good painter can do the work, you need to tell them to wetsand the painted portions, compound them with a rotary and lastly treat the whole car to a comp, so you get uniform shine. Cutting an compounding creams wont put a dent in your car. Cost well, depends on painter to painter, may start from as low as 2k to 15k.

Thanks for the kind words, brother. Like I said, it was really just a case of maintaining the good work done by DC. And as for the rest of the projects, I always give the example of the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jehan...

Talha, if you managed to pull this detail on yer own, then Im gona be a bit easy on you, an let me say its a good detail...no doubt! MashAllah, but......there is but here, its been pointed out as well.....the front grill....now since you were confused over what to use with it, let me tell you my plan of action, whenever I get confused over somthing like this, I go to the basics, whats the grill made of ? Plastic, so you can treat plastics with (a) Interior spray (b) Trim Restorer. Get it ? Lastly, lack a little on the depth....Id say go for a good good cleaner wax, then top it with GC.....should do wonders! Dil kharab na karna, but I see someone willing to work hard, an its fair that you channel that energy in the right direction! So Im waiting for round two! An if you need any help, holler, Ill pop over an lend you a hand! No worries !

Usman, you're a VERY bad influence, little brother! After the wash and wax on the RR, I simply had to stock up on a ton of other stuff. I even bought a box of Turtle "Black" Series Wax and Detailer Spray JUST on the assumption ke "chalo, kuchh dinon baad '67 Impala tayyaar ho jaayegi. Woh to kaali hai na"!

The sealant is holding up like a true champ. And it truly protects that incredible depth of colour and tone you guys brought out. The wax on/wax off was very easy because of it...and gave a truly awesome shine to the Range Rover.

Doosri khabron mein, the Phantom went for a bit of a stroll in the wastelands of DHA-I Extension and Bahria 9. There was a whole lot of mud (from the recent rains) to contend with, and it performed marvellously, Alhamd-o-Lillah. I don't think I engaged first gear even once, let alone 4wd, and most of the muck was dispensed with in 3rd gear. A testament indeed, to how the tires (and the vehicle itself) perform in mud, gravel, and rock. I'm really looking forward to the Phantom meeting its Unimog cousins in Lahore, Insha Allah.

Hey guys, detailed my car last night(somewhat), put in 3 to 4 hours of effort into it, that was hard. Wanted to ask you guys particularly ISB/RWP members where can I find good quality DA's with appropriate pads for Swirls, polish and wax. Thanks.

usman bhai meant first wet sand and compound with rotery the effected pannels and than compound whole car to have uniformity

Good Quality Da`s have to imported, else the ones here are very very expensive! Try the better outlets, or if not, you can always modify a BnD da with a Megs pad attachment!
