Cuz thats like ummmmm a preeeety heavy detail.....an secondly, start with basics....there are a lot of abrasives in this chart, if yer a learner I suggest you start by properly washing and waxing your ride.....get a good shampoo (Turtle Wax ICE or Sonax Ultra gloss), some mfs (any brand will do) and a nice wax (turtle wax hard shell shine). An on the other hand if yer an expert, just give me the total budget and I`ll list the products out for you! Apologies for the delayed answer, I have a loooooooooooot on hand these days!

usman bhai m quite a fan of your work, would have wandered around a few hundered pages of this thread in the begining when i was less buzy,but lets just say your work is so amazing that i remained speechless and kept on watching, true treat for eyes lol!
mann you have repeated the same words over and over again for so many times for beginners like us so thanx to your patience, and no doubt i have gained so much info from this thread!
now since you asked regarding budget so i wont waste this opportunity and would like to ask 2 separate break down of budget into class products for best results
a 15k budget and a 25k budget please spare some time and either pm me or post here in depth and i have never used clay bars and did a rubbing diy myself cuz i believe leaving those jobs to pros is the best, however i feel that might keep me away from learning :S so do give some basics and precautions on applying of such products which are intense and fall in the category of cutting creams
as for me i usually wash and wax my ride for obtaining the temporary peace of mind of getting rid of the swirls, but darn em swirls appear again after a day or two!

so detailed my tandoori today, last time it was detailed on Pakwheels GTG,
as u guys know that Ramazan is on, and almost impossible for me to detail car in day time after night shifts and with Fast.
also face a lil spiderman problem so decided to detail car right after aftari
so started near 7.30 pm. and ended up 9pm.

most economical clay bar set is turtle roughly rs 1900 to 2000, clay bar is good but detailer spray just so so, add 1 table spoon of car shampoo in that bottle for better results
cleaner wax : easily avilable is mother cleaner wax price about rs1400 to 1500 , meguiar's cleaner wax is very good , dont know its local price.

its better than meguairs, i dont know if it is better than turtle platinum(havent used it yet), though i found the refine and shine clay lubricant crappy

ahsan bhai i dont have experince of mother clay bar set.
turtle refine and shine clay bar is stronger in action so good for neglected paint surface but its detailer spray not as effective.
meguiar's having 2 options in clay bar, one is stronger and one is soft action.
my rough guess for mother's is same softer in action.

I have used both (mothers and meguiars).. Mothers clay bar is much much better compared to meguairs.. It removes more contaminants easily.. I removed paint over spray from the hood, fenders and bumper of my car easily with mothers.. Whereas megs clay bar could not remove paint overspray froom the left door, but then again mothers did the job.. Mothers detailer was used as the clay lube... But then again, this is my personal experience :)....

i went to autoline to get a mothers clay kit, the kit had everything except one (out of the two clay bars adverised on the box) yet the jerk was acting like he was doing an ehsan by giving 15% discount, i was like youre joking 10%, 45 % discount would have made sense, yet to make my day worse i got refine and shine which had a terrible detailer spray, and voila i was out of cash too. never gonna buy turtle again

so today car went out for like 10min so i put back car cover on it but second time it went out for like 30min
though it was very little dust on it but to avoid scratches by putting car cover back i let it stay without cover
n then after iftaari i washed the car with just pressurized water by choa motor n then dried off with water magnet n it got all clean n that little dust layer gone as well,quite cost effective n no need of detailer spray n simple as well as less time consuming too n after that car cover back on it + it was a good exercise to digest iftaari

since some of my stuff will be shipped from UK so thought to get some car stuff along as well
em thinking to get
1)optimum no rinse n wash for quick cleaning of car
2)meg's hi tech yellow paste wax
3) big sized mf towels

anything else which i should get from there that would be cheaper to get from there n not available here,like both the first 2 items are not available here
