aoa.. i need to ask a question regarding clay bars..
There are some cheap clay bars being sold on ebay. eg.

I searched on other forums (eg autopia) and found out that people have used them and they do work. They're not as extremely good as the expensive ones (like detailer's pro clay bar) but still they do the job..

Are these good enough to be used? Did anyone has experience of using these clay bars?

Can anyone share their experience?

the link you showed is a copy of the 3m clay, they may work, but sourcing them, waiting, using credit card = headache, and then you need to go buy a detailer spray. id rather stay comfortable and go get a mothers kit

buying from ebay is not a problem. infact ive ordered one to try. it'll arrive within 2 weeks.

a relevant question.. for how many cars we can use one mother's clay kit (i think it has 2x bars of 200g)
with some claybar products, its said that you can use it on 8 cars or 20 cars or something like that.. ..

thats really a variable, if you use it on a heavily contaminated car then it might not even last 3 sessions, if the cars you work on are lightly contaminated it can do much more. i cant give exact figures though

megs swirls x is good, however turtle secratch and swirl remover also satisfy my needs and also cost effective but use with care , no presuure just more wips with less pressure

my meg's water magnet is ruined sort of

i had jet black tints which i removed
so there was some shampoo marks on the windows,when i washed the car i wiped wet water magnet on it n it got black,it had been washed,even used brush,washed again n yet that blackishness is not going

though since it isnt going it wont harm car but i dont like black mark on yellow colour :mad:
any help?
