Formula 1 is like the cheapest wax you can get in the local market. It will give a pop/shine to your paint for a few weeks but i would never use it because it has chemicals in it which will damage your paint in long term. In terms of quality, after this wax comes the Cosmic carnauba wax, then many others like Turtle wax, Meguiars, etc. Be kind to your car and buy a quality product if you're not too tight on budget.
As for the scratch removal the wax may have masked/hid it or slighty removed the top layer if it were a cleaner wax.

Washing going on:

Bro, from the pictures posted your washing technique needs to be improved.
You should never hose the car when standing in front of it, like you're doing in the first and second pic. Why? Because this pushes the dirt and dust particles deeper into the paint and may form swirl marks. You wouldn't want to wash your car at the expense of swirl marks, would you ? So to prevent this problem hose down will low pressure and go along/parallel to the paint surface........let the water flow down like a waterfall........you can use slight pressure if needed but do a thorough wash so while drying you don't pick up dirt in your drying towel/cloth.
Please don't mind, i wrote all this so that your car will stay shiny and swirl free. Ask if you don't understand.

did that yesterday,pics taken now,dust is evenly spreaded now with no circles,so what does it means?
oh n btw there are some white dots on bonnets which wont go away :mad:

Oh, thank God, no circles. How long did it take for the dust to re-settle on the paint? And you used distilled water or tap water?
These white dots look strange......i think its something a clay bar will remove but you can wait for experts to reply.

Hideous scratch removed with the help of Formula 1 Wax

Some food for thought........did you hide or remove the scratch ? Cause if you removed the scratch, obviously your wax is abrasive...whats yer take on this??

This has happened again.

This time I washed my cousin's santro

Procedure:
1. Washed the car using turtle shampoo using two bucket system with pressure washer
2. Clayed the car with turtle liquid clay and mother clay bar
3. Washed the car again using turtle shampoo using two bucket system with pressure washer
4. Waxed with this applicator (which was white at the start) mothers stage 3 carbnauba wax.

What is happening? why is my waxing pad always getting black ?

Hey guys can anyone tell me how often can we apply a glaze or a sealant?

For a sealant, atleast let the recommended time specified by the manufacturer elapse before a new coat, an as for a glaze, well....as per requirement.....why do we use a glaze though ?? Mind taking that one ??

even though i used dried side,clean wet/dry side,will post pics tomorrow but i guess dust might hide them by then

will see how it goes with next wax application,though i was copying the style of shazo for holding the pad while applying it that is using punch n then making circles with pad

The lines are most probably due to salts in water. Buy some distilled water if you don't have its apparatus; it will not leave lines.

infact i needed it last yr for making cleaning solution for LCD,but since i couldnt find it so i just used simple mf to clean the LCD

Check any grocery/drug store....they should have it. Remember: you're looking for distilled water, not de-ionized water. They are two different types.
