last evening i got rx-8 detailing pics from any un-known detailer who told me his location as islamabad, according to him he is silent member of our thread and he is also one of "mutasareen" of this thread and he did detail his rx8 and wish to share pics on thread for the feedback

Sharmeelay bhai jan, MashAllah! Bhooth acha kaam kiya hai aap nay to, total turn around, aab khud apna account bana kar batayen keh what products were used and the time it took you to do this detail!

Wash it in cold weather and morning at that time it was raning.
Double wax it wid the gap of 2-3 hours.and final result

^^ I rarely comment but for the merc i feel obligated too; the car does lacks gloss, could do a lot better. Its a german paint, try using better and harder products like mezerna.. should give you better results than this. What have you used till now on it ?

and its all becoz of camera as id nt have a gud camera to capture HD pics
its all taken from mobile
bt from reall eyes its giving great depth and reflections

Experts I am looking for some products for my car I may say basic ones. Currently I am using Armorall Wash and Wax Shampoo with Formula 1 wax. And I have 2 Chinese MF cloths For tyres I use hair shampoo and interior is cleaned with laster polish. Now I know detailing is a very tough thing here because I live in appartment not in a house So I don't have water hose or plenty of area but I can offord to wash my car twice a week. Please suggest me certain products which will keep dust away from my car and shows some real good reflection. Also they need to sustain the sand of interior. Car is a cultus 08 Graphite Grey Color. It does have many scratches some will be kalam or compounded soon by painter.
Products I need
Wax
Tools to apply wax properly
Some water based detailer spray to keep away dust plus some polish for interior and exterior. I would also be needing MF and wash mitts.
Now I am on strict budget i.e 3-4k . And Is the armorall shampoo fine? Bought from Hyperstar Karachi.

get the meguiar's kit,it costs around 4 or 4.5k
n it has many things like wash mitt,shampoo,wax,water magnet (for drying) etc
its a complete package

nice work with quality products , u also need a plastic trim restorer as wiper and surrounding area seems dry

will do that later on as was out of budget. recommend one in reasonable price

ice car wash did a good job because after that plastics were a bit less dry

o way, why replace the whole part? A hammer will do the job and the whole fender will be re-painted. A new fender will cost you somewhere like 25-30k Rs.

BUT, get it painted whilst its removed from the vehicle. In this way the rest of the car will remain safe from the effects of overspray and another plus point will be the efficient paint job on all corners and tricky areas.

Hope this helps, just my bit.

OEM orig fender (not taiwan copy) rates:
toyota gt: 4300
toyota islamabad: 4200
toyota peshawar: 5000
chaudhry autos pesh: 4800

taiwan copy: 2000 to 2500 ( diff qualities)

bake Paint job + labor charges
toyota gt: 4k
toyota islamabad: 3.5k
toyota peshawar 5k

all was set
But bare ustad aka v1 then told me to go for dry denting n touch up the affected area so now planning to act on his advice but want to know this touch up thingy as never did this before.

PS it was a pleasure surprise to know the rates as I was also expecting it to be more than 20k
