My long story short, recovered our Bolan after 8 year after theft from out side our home about one n half year ago n again impounded about two weeks ago Police is saying that its engine n chassis no. Is tempered, the ASI who recovered it have not performed lab test now Police captured the Bolan want to perform Lab test, what if lab test is positive??????? Advice needed?

So what? It's ur car. You have verification details FIR Ownership details etc. It was stolen so yes it's tempered now. But that doesn't mean impounding the car or scraping it. You will have to go to court and ask ur car back. They will give u clearance certificate mentioning the exact tempered numbers.

Is it true if there are small dark spots around the chassis number after paint has been removed, the chassis number has been tampered with?

Aoa,
I bought a Honda city 2004 a few days ago and after buying i go to dantor for repairing of car he said that car is tempered.He said the figures are not in standard size some of them are little from standard size and some of them move up from to the chassis.

in my neighbour i have an uncle with a tempered swift and above all a mixture of land cruiser and prado.
still he feels no fear.

Sir i have 1.3 suzuki liana an gives 11 km /l urber areas 8 km/l in city i am vorried about it and the cilencer is full black not brown and the plugs are brown

plugs SHOULD be brown. chocolate brown means your combustion is optimum, and no running rich or lean or burning oil.
