i want you to draw attention to the issue: in Pakistan resale is a big issue n this fact should not be denied by anyone

Its because cars here are expensive as compare to other countries n people ve to save for a long time to get thier cars (normally) .n cars r thier assests

well..our car market is a " limited choice " market...like everythingh around us..we have limited choice when it comes to buying a car..........i mean we cant just critcise car manufacturers for their low quality ,,what quality u see around u ??,,,bad roads,,bad rail roads,,bad markets,,poor administration,,poor politicians,,,poor administrators,,,,,,,i mean,,why we expect GOOD quality from car manufacturers,,when we see nothingh around us that we can term as "quality product ".......i always feel and i believe in it firmly that our country is 80 to 100 years BEHIND the developed countries like UK and USA,,,,,,,look around u and then comapare,,,i hope u will get my point............

now some patriots might not agree with me,,but this has got nothingh to do with patriotism,,i am telling the REALITY,,,,,,and reality always bites...........

I m partly agree with u....but in my openion in pakistan there is GUNDA RAAAj or manoply of three manufacturers HONDA,TOYOTA n SUZUKI.....they r selling cars at huge profits n Goverment policy is supporting thier cause by imposing heavy duty on imported cars....Govt should tighten its policy so that we can get high quality produts at reduced prices

a mint low milage example (in VX trim) will set you back around 23-25 lacs even now. But a average example (IN VX limited trim with auto) will be in the low 20's or below.

GX versions will be 15+

Yes that is what we are trying to say here. Islam doesn't stop you from buying a "good" car. But the problem is the only car that is termed good here is the one which has "resale" value. Doesn't matter if its brakes are faulty, no power windows, no extra value added features and comes with lots of OWN money. Not to mention you get delivery after 4 or 5 months.

For e.g. let's compare XLi with i-DSi or Liana and see which one is a good car!

@Techman, I speak for myself and I personally like Xli, coz it's a decent car that fits in my budget.

It is powerful and reliable and does not depreciate its value with the time.

What I need is there, an attractive exterior, beautiful interior, good chilling aircon, a robust and reliable but very fuel efficient powerplant (engine), large trunk.

I am a careful driver and do not apply sudden brakes at 120 km, so have no problems of skidding.

About power windows and other stuff there is a choice of GLi. I don't think accessories add any value to price of car. Again at the time of resale a stock car would fetch the same, price compared to a car loaded with alloys, decks and what not.

The one who is not born with a golden spoon in mouth and puts his hard earned money in a car in the given limited choice scenario is not "Jahil".

what u guys think that vitz have a gud resale or wud it ve in future? n wat about the city? city got gud resale or not? well sorry for those guys who bought it for 880,000 n now it is 8,40,000.
