It does offer all-wheel drive and a relatively high ground clearance for a compact size, so it sells well in snow country.

Thats what i had in mind. 4wd for snow in NE. both kids want mom near and area on backside of car to keep stuff for kids. but i didnt like the centre area of rear seat for someone to sit for long duration. i knew i might hear a complaint, so i went for a wider car with area in front of rear seat for stuff. the bmw 740iLong ver. plus it had the looks i wanted in car. the2000kg rwd in snow was an experience but i was able to manage it

7-series are nice cars, and with a full set of snow tires and traction/stability control, pretty good in the snow too.

u took the snaps of random cars but all the cars are so clean n neat..... every one at your place wash thier cars on daily basis or u wash them before fotosession??? ;-p

Not at all, just routine shots with no special preparation. If you go through the pages, you will see many dirty cars too, such as:
