Car paint fading

I got mira 2008 two door. Car paint is fading from few places and paint getting dull as well. Should i go for shower or rubbing polish only

This looks like the paint is totally peeling off and revealing the primer underneath. There is no solution other than getting the loose paint removed and getting it resprayed.

getting roof painted will make this car sell very hard and at scrap price

i would have taken pictures of roof - saved them and wrapped the roof
