If insurance company paid the amount after depreciation, after 2 months car got recovered. then whats the scene? insurance company will get the car or company will give to owner? (as company already paid to owner)

>Insure your car. That way you will never have total loss.
>Use good quality car alarm. That way hopefully you will get audio warning if someone tries to break into the car.
>Also use steering mounted crook lock. It is big deterrent for thief. Don't use the one which is mounted between brake / clutch pedal and steering. These can cause clutch problem in corolla. So only use the one which is mounted on the steering as shown in picture above.

insurance procedure is very long, it takes some time gathering all required documents n then u need zimni report as well which they issue 3 months after the car is stolen, but once insurance company pays you they take all the documents from you, so it'll be their property now

Stop buying corolla's/mehrans etc and say no to shitty cars!! Once the customers leave in droves, market dynamics will force this thievery abetting company to introduce immobilisers in their cars. Hit their bottom line. I'm amazed there isn't a class action lawsuit in the consumer courts against this.

i thought islamabad is a bit secure city as compare to rest of pakistan, i own xli i always use china tala in steering cross,, i knw thieves can easily break these locks but may consume their precious time.

This time again, Toyota is not giving immobiliser even in the new Altis, let alone xli and Gli. It's pathetic. I went for a Honda for piece of mind. What use is a car if you are afraid to leave it unattended even for 5 min.

The best way to avoid theft of your car is to install a valve at the end of exhaust system and then watch who has the guts to steal/drive your car.

I use4 locks.... keyless security system, auto-steering lock when key is removed, silver wolf steering lock and clutch bar with Tri Circle lock! Becoz hav to park this car outside ma colg.......Now with locks hav some peace of mind!

Logic is that thieves avoid cars with such locks else unlocking these wont be a big task for a professional thief but time consuming...Why to steal a car with locks when hundreds of other corollas without a single lock are present out there!!! Think like a thief!!!

That would need installation of a typical water/gas valve at any place you could find suitable in the exhaust pipe. Turn that off the moment you park your vehicle. The car would neither start with battery nor with toeing.
