This idea always hit my mind whenever someone behind me is beeping like crazy when road ahead is blocked... ...\

whenever a guy behind my car with crazy HIDs/High Beam keeps torturing me .. and whenever i make some wrong and aggressive lane change or overtake just because i am in too much hurry won't be it nice to display a message like "Sorry!" with a smily face popping on my rear screen

Rottewilers are very agressive in nature, they are considered as one man dogs. My friend brought it up and ultimately he had to give it to Army dog centre because it was becoming a threat for his kids also. Dog is a symbol of threat and thieves have to spend some time to make the dogs unconscious. Atleast at night time they can alert you by barking.

nd if u dnt pay atnsn over their barking or dont get up,they do the job by thmslvs!

@bilal_masood buddy betr to look for sm pups nd breed shud be labrador or germn shphrds,u can mold these two breeds v easily as u want,ppl say labras r v frndly etc ive seen damn agresive labras nd ppl say dobrmns are agresive but ive seen many frndly dobermans,its how u train the dog to work or act like!
nd for this,two breeds are on the top
1)labrador
2)german shephard

@all remember sale nd purchase of dogs is totaly HARAAAM (refrnce bukhari shareef) if someone has doubt about it,tell me i'l qoute the exct refrnce.
so get the dog if u get that for free frm a friend or a relative.
like ive taken pdgreed,prize winner dogs from my frnds,uncles etc.

yeah, like attending a business meeting so the boss fires u, attending a dinner at PC so the guards stop u, going for shopping so that ppl throw eggs at u, at home so that in case of any emergency u cant take ur car out of garage urself......cummon, u were joking when u gave ^^^ suggestion, rite ??

Yes i was but your logic makes no sense. Why would your boss fire you for carrying a steering wheel? Surely you would have a laptop bag that you could put the wheel into. No one would even know you were carrying it around.

And why would people throw eggs at you? If you want to leave in an emergency it takes no more than 30 secs to put a sports steering back. All it takes is screwing one nut on or off.

Think about it, the thieves may be prepared for trackers etc but i doubt they would be carrying around a spare steering wheel.

First of all im sorry to hear about the loss i pray he gets his car back.

Secondly who ever suggested to have a dog instead has indeed offered the most feasible solution to this problem, trust me guys your only security After "Allah" and after "Ayaat al Kursi" is your watch dog, I also own a Gli and it has nothing installed just an ordinary car lock, but a do have a Dog as well and a very well trained one.

i have red above that thieves might even poison your dog which is possible, but it has a very very less likely chance as compare to other thefts, I am not saying that with dogs you are 100% safer but hear me out on this carefully

" ALMOST ALL OF PROFESSIONAL THIEVES WANT TO MAKE THIER JOB EASIER BY NOT GETTING THEM SELVES INTO EXTRA HASSLE AND TENSION, TRUST ME GUYS FOR THEM A CAR GUARDED BY A DOG IS NOTHING BUT EXTRA AMOUNT OF HASSLE AND SO THEY AVOID IT" hence you are saved.
In past i have heard from someone that a group of robbers came to rob a house and just becoz the house owner had a pair of watch dogs they ended up robbing the next door house.

My advice to you all when ever u r in a situation that you have to leave your car unattended for a while anywhere jus read "Ayaat Al Kursi" and blow towards your car, trust me u ill have that feel of staisfaction, rest leave on Allah (S.W.T).

lessons learnt

1 immobilisers, trackers and dogs are only deterrents, they will only slow down the theft process and if the car is bound to be stolen, they will even tow it away - it has happened and Ive seen it.

2 keep bling bling out of sight, meaning keep a civilised car and dont trust any off the bat mechanic/electrician/accessory installer/locksmith etc, have your car serviced only at proper trusted shops. Ask around about losses of owners having same insurance or leasing as yours, sometimes these companies also are involved.

btw - to the guy who said that these robbers feed something to your dog, thats impossible unless you are extremely terrible with upkeep of dogs, a trained dog will never ever eat something from a stranger, I know it for a fact, my extended family had guard dogs that would tear you in two pieces before you could even yell, and I used to live in ZA as a kid - over there everyone has a dog, its how you train them.. and if your dog will eat anything from a stranger - that is not your dog, its a street dog.

the most cheapest and usefull way to protect ur car use normal Lock which is known *** (TAAALA) the lock we uses to lock our main gaits of homes and indoor gates too... tht taala can be locked at the steering rods root point under the DasH Board near break padle by which steering cant move n itss very very tough to break frm tht point even thts a little tough to open with key too... it depends on car whether it has tht hook at steering rods root point or nt bt I got altis 2008 n have tht hook n iv seen this hook in many other cars it is a little difficult to lock car frm tht point with taala bt needs a little practice

yaar i have a TAALA in my car, its Mehran but i can't find that hook, can u tell me exact location of that hook..? my car stands at University parking for hours without any safety..!! i have searched many times but all in vain:(

^^get outside of the car follow the steering rod(in the cabin i mean,it'l be rit infrnt of knees of driver) u'l find a joint,play with steeing wheel to increase the space btween the joint,then hook the tala there.
