its True, car/motor cycles lifting is very common these days.
i had a story of my friend.
his 3 bikes were eiter stolen or lifted.
his company policy is to provide bikes only Honda make. he got new honda cd 70 which was just after 2 months got snatched from gulshan iqbal near KFC by another motorbiker.
so insurance claim and FIR is the main issue. company recovers the amount from insurance after 2 months and gave him a new bike, again company policy honda cd70. he went in a shop near nipa and came out just after 15 mins bike was missing.
so again insurance and FIR etc, after 2 months he again have the same option, he searched which honda bike has a less stolen record, he find out CD100 and got it. just after 15 days he was traped by a 5 to 6 motorcycles before dehli colony/sabmarine chorangi cliftion after race cource and took away the bike.
when he tell the area police to write an FIR that he was traped by 5 to 6 bikes, they said change ur statement and say it was parked and stolen near that area. police also told him that you have to come to police station to point out or identify the persons who snatched your bike. due to this issue he wrote in FIR it was stolen.
Every department is corrupt.
