it also depends alot on tyre size.it shouldnt be considered if 1 is runnig other thn oem size

Toyota Corolla 1.3L : Around 3.2k
Honda Civic 1.6L : Around 3k
Suzuki Cultus 1.0L : Around 3k
Suzuki Khyber 1.0L : Around 3.2k (There is no tachometer but the car is at ease @100km/h in 5th shift with almost no engine growl)

Honda City 2006 Steermatic (L15A).RPM @ 100km/h is 2,400.

The stock tyres are 185/55/R15 but I'm using 195/60/R15 which means that the speedo is reading a little slower since the tyres are little bigger. I'd say drop another 100 rpm or so....

It can never be at 2.5k
It is around 3~3.2k
It is at 3.6k at 120km/h

Civic 5 Speed A/T needs 1948 /w 195/65/15 (recommended size) tyres
Civic 5 Speed M/T needs 2610
