Can you describe how you clean Catalytic Converter?

HI Guys,

Removing the CAT is a very bad option and you will end up with many other problems with the car. Especially for vehicles which are imported from Japan.

Just have the CAT cleaned, do not have it removed or break and empty. Cat converters absorbs the harmful components which are omitted on combustion and removing it will increase the car sound, through black smoke, car starts missing after some time etc.

To clean it you need to have it opened and washed with a cleaner, see this link: How to Clean a Clogged Catalytic Converter | DoItYourself.com. this might help.

Remember, most of mechanics will give you an easy was out for them, remove it. CAT converters also have O2 sensors, it might need replacement as well.
