Short reviews for each little thing on the Z3 Plus:
Pros:
Very lightweight - My 6P feels like a brick compared to this. This weighs 144g and the 6P is 178g. The aluminium build on the 6P really makes a difference versus the all glass back on the Z3 Plus.
Feels small for me - Coming from a Nexus 6, and then a Galaxy S6 edge plus and now a Nexus 6P, this phone feels small, with a 5.2" screen and massive a** bezels, this still feels little.
Comfortable to hold - When it's not trying to burn your hand off, it's quite comfortable to hold. If any of you had ever owned an Xperia Z2, you'd know what I'm talking about. That phone had very square edges and was very 'sharp' and uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time. They tried something in the Z3 and further improved on it with the Z3 Plus. Gave it rounded edges and made them with a smooth and glossy finish. It's not slippery like you'd think, quite nice to be honest.
Fantastic camera - It's Sony.... they really can't f**k up with cameras. Provided you know your way around manual mode (I don't haha, I'm still learning), but I've seen what their cameras can do. This has the same 20.7 MP sensor, but it's fantastic.
Buttons - Buttons on the Z2 were..... sh*t. They've made them more tactile and 'clicky' on this phone. Also, a camera button is always welcomed. It's a dying breed, only present on Xperia phones.
No useless flaps for the charger - The Z/Z1/Z2/Z3 all had a dumb water resistant flap over the charging port, very inconvenient and most people would accidentally break them off, resulting in the 'waterproof-ness' being lost.
The charging port on this is like the one on the Galaxy S7, uncovered, but still water resistant.
SD Card slot and Dual Nano SIM Cards - SD Cards, we all love them, but they're slowly disappearing on smartphones. This phone has a SIM tray with 2 slots in it, and from what I've read, the second SIM slot has 3G/4G capability and not 2G only. Will test this out in a few days when I get a Telenor 4G SIM card.
Internal Storage is 32GB - Compared to the 16 in most smartphones. Having the base model at 32 was a nice little addition by Sony.

Cons:
Heat - Snapdragon 810 (A.K.A: The hand burner / The king of throttling / Biggest flop ever). Yes, this has the famously known SD810 chipset which is known to heat up a lot under light load even and throttle it's CPU and GPU clocks to save itself from burning up. My phone is on the latest OTA and the problem has been fixed for the most part, however if I turn up brightness and join a group chat and start roasting someone, this phone will roast my hands.
On normal usage, Instagram, WhatsApp, Tapatalk, it's perfectly fine though.
Battery life - Xperia phones were known to have good battery life. However the inconsistent CPU/GPU clocks also result in irregular battery drains. Sometimes it'll drain on idle, sometimes it won't. Haven't used it enough to do more thorough test. Might get better.
Speakers - Disappointed. Sony could've done way better. The internal speakers are crap. No more words, since they're just crap. I can't review crap speakers.
Fingerprints - Mine is the black one. Absolute fingerprint magnet. I like keeping it clean and shiny, not dull with huge fingerprints on the front and back.
Software updates - Yes, Sony is somewhat punctual with major software updates, this got MM fairly quickly and Sony has included the Z3 Plus in the list of devices for Android N, however with that being said, they don't give a rats a** about security patches. The latest update for the Z3 Plus includes the....... April security patch. Not May, Not June, not even f*cking July, but April.
-------------------------------------
A bit of both:
Display - Let's keep it short and simple. It's not a 2K display, one that I have been using on my past 4-5 devices. The 1080p panel is great, but I've been spoilt with 2K screens. However, Sony did a good job keeping 1080p because it helps the battery life waaaay more.

Keep this stuff in mind if you ever have to buy a Z3 Plus LOL.
