The problems is with proximity sensor, not ambient light sensor.

Maybe it is switched off in setting somehow during update process. In phone app (dialer), open menu, call settings > turn off screen during calls, enable this toggle.

Settings menu is completely redesigned, notifications icons are now circled, multitasking menu now has vertical panes and overall; it reminds me of Samsung's Touchwiz based on Android Lollipop with a dosh of iOS flavor!

Google also intends to introduce some sort of 'navigational gestures', just like The iPhone X!

PTA approved Huawei - compliant

Non PTA approved FU iPhone (sim not installed, but FU) - Device IMEI (xyz) is Valid. Insert SIM and make a call/SMS to anyone on or before 29/06/18 date for auto registration

Midrange market here is down overall. Only Huawei is selling a lot in midrange, rest all low sales of midrange of other brands. Even latest Mi is not selling well. Huawei is currently selling better in midrange, rest almost flop.

Most people prefer last year used flagships in similar price range though, that offer far more value for money, at the expense of used phone risk (not a big deal once set is checked properly before buying).

Nokia pricing were previously way too high.

Nokia 6.1 and 8 are a steal at these prices!

Especially The Nokia 8 with the powerful Snapdragon 835! It's a total beast.

Thinking about upgrading as my Nexus 5X is getting a little long in the tooth and likely won't get an update to Android P.

SD 835 is useless, it has small 5.3 inch screen, that too with 16:9 screen. I doubt anyone would even consider it. Camera is also average.

Even Nokia 6.1 has average camera with 4k recording and with 16:9 screen with SD 630. 4k is useless on average camera quality.

No dual cameras (camera average) and no 18:9 screen, so what's even there?

Instead of shoving processing power, they should have added atleast 18:9 screen with a great camera.

We all know that latest Androids work more than sufficient, on anything above SD430.

It's more like a Suzuki Cultus Turbo. Only Turbo engine, nothing else special.

@s15 after the 1st May security patch upgrade, my s7 edge gets hot and restarts in a bootloop. Then I have to put it infront of AC to cool it down. I did clear the cache partition as well as full reset as per hamza instructions. Was ok for a week. It's 935U.

anybody having exp with ordering a phone from ALIexpress?? because phone there are the same which we have in our country but almost half of the price for example new honor 9 price in Pakistan in pkr is 56000 & on Aliexprees on can easily find for $300 i.e not more then 35000 rupees with delivery to Pakistan,that's a huge difference even the honor 10 is cheaper then new honor 9 in Pakistan,my question would that be delivered to our home or we would need some custom clearing for it

Try using without a case and then see, but from what you told, it seems motherboard (some shorting) or processor fault. Get it checked. They will connect meter with its battery terminals and it will instantly confirm if it's hardware or not.

If you use in AC room, it will work reasonably ok but get hotter than normal.

If you use it outdoor or heavily, it will get super hot 70-80C+ and thermal protection system will activate, resulting in phone turning off or restarting in bootloop.

Thermal protection does not activate in normal cases, unless you use it brutally outdoors or there is some issue in hardware.

CPU Z app > Thermal . It will show phone temperature in detail. Please note the readings when phone is in standby and getting hot. It helps a lot.

Phone getting warm on standby after reset is a good sign hardware is faulty.
