If yes, rooting and greenify is required, as the phone usually lags when its ram is full. 1GB ram is not much sufficient for it. Mostly android phones lag because of less ram, not because of low processing power.

Microsoft phones, having windows OS, which is fairly a lot lighter than Android uses 1GB ram in all their latest entry level phones. So, i can assure that they are mostly lag free and performance wise better than these 1GB ram android phones.

I wonder why these android phones manufacturers are stuck with 1GB ram in entry level phones. Android has way higher requirements than Windows OS.

2 GB ram is what made Huawei Honour 3C a great and lag free phone.

Prices are too much here got Iphone 5S FU 16GB from dubai in 46K and here used ones are 40-42K :-$. Want to get a new android phone as my old HTC One X+ wants some rest

Hi guys I want to buy an iPhone 4 just for normal call and me messaging use and not for such a high gaming or etc so wanna know how is its battery timing and is it too slow on ios 7 ? Or it's agreeable , want to use it just for calls and SMS and as a second phone , does it still worth buying ?
Or should I buy an iPhone 4s , remember it's only for calls and SMS

4 is very slow on iOS 7, 4S is very slow on iOS 8, so you have no choice. An android would do good.

Microsoft Lumia 430, rs. 8000/= for brand new. Complete peace of mind. One of the best phones i ever used in this price. 1GB Ram too.

I am using first generation dual Sim Moto G. The experience is same like nexus phone pure AOSP android experience. The phone does not over heat. Well 1gb ram might be slower than 2gb in multi tasking but it does the job fine.

Go with lg g2 . lenovo a6000 is good phone but it has less ram 1GB. It should be at least 2Gb for smooth experience or do look into

I have QMobile A8 since more than 2 years and still going smooth and lag free with 0 issues.

I'm not fan of Qmobile. Never had one . I just suggested z8 because Q has used good chipset and has 2gig ram. It has snapdragon 410 which comes in other Samsung and HTC entry level phones .

I've used moto g 2nd gen . these are good phones and lag free because they stick to stock Android.

Lumia Windows are great phones . I being an Android user will take time to familiarise with the UI. Also I can't suggest I do not have first hand experience with Windows phones .
