I monitor battery temperature with 'battery temperature guard' app, for all my smartphones.

Battery temperature limit is 45C. In summers, upto 40C is normal, especially while charging and using phone, simultaneously. Using phone while charging heats up more.

Phone will run 5C hotter if you use protective covers, that's why i use protective bumpers.

Your battery is fine, if it's not swelled, even slightly.

To me, it looks pretty normal staying under 40C.

P.S, delete any battery saver apps installed.

I have a Samsung s4 which i bought brand new. Its under warranty but the problem is that it heats up to 40 degree while charging. It never heated up before like this. I use original charger and cable to charge it and don't charge on ups nor do i drain it from 100 to 0 etc. But still it heats up. if this is a battery problem, can i have it replaced under warranty?

I dont think that's a problem. Even my G2 has started getting warmer while charging. Maybe because of the weather. But apart from that if your S4 is perfectly fine i.e no overheating during normal use then i don't think you need to worry.

I had Gsam battery monitor which i uninstalled a while back. I always remove the silicon cover before charging and rarely use phone while charging. There is no swelling. So i guess its ok then.

Android geeks need help , yesterday paid huge price of buying a Q-MOBILE , my father has Q A50 and yesterday it got stuck on boot screen and I had to reset it on order to bring it back to life and guess what happened all the contracts gone , and mobile can't connect to PC coz its Jack is damaged or something happened with it so can't use any PC app to recover data , so wanna know is there any other method to recover contracts , thanks for your time

If you hadn't made any backups, then I@m sorry but you won't get those things back, Qmobile has certainly lost their charm and reliability, the older models are fine, the newer ones keep having issues, I've seen 2-3 days used Qmobiles lying in shops because of problems.

Yeah you are right they are just crap , I don't have any backup but we had synchronized all the contacts with Google accounts but still unable to recover it ,

For bootloops, remove battery and put it back after few seconds or clear cache from recovery mode.

If that doesn't work, boot into safe mode.

This works most of the time.

But since you didn't do it and factory reset it, so there is 'nothing' you could retrieve from phone memory.

Factory reset doesn't delete contacts saved in sim and data saved in microsd card.

So use search to find ' .vcf ' in the memory card. If you find any, you may recover most of your contacts.

Check sim contacts, you may be able to recover many contacts from there.

From Gmail, you can get it, if you enabled sync option in phone.

Lg 802 sells for 18kish these days. My friend sold his in 14k but lcd was changed

There is also an advanced way to restore phone, by reflashing the rom. But Qmobile rom support is almost zero.

Agreed. These days, Microsoft also launched some very good phones at very reasonable prices, starting from 8000, 4 inch display (233 ppi) and 1GB ram.

Nothing performs better than Windows 8.1 on entry level smartphones.

So, i don't see any need to choose local brands, that are not even medically tested (their SAR value is unknown).

yesterday i upgraded my Galaxy S4 Model : I9505 frm 4.4 to 5.1 Lollipop with official Rom .
Now s4 is going smooth.
and feels new look. i think Battery timing is improved a little...

Ive got a qmobile v5 lying with me too. Silver colour. 10/10 condition. No issues of any sort. Box handsfree and manual available. Receipt is available too.
