Lg G2, if you find in great condition (very rare) would be a lot better. You can open back cover yourself in G2, even in the non removable battery versions, with a plastic opening tool to inspect the condition inside.
People underrate G2, but G2 has specs better than S4 and equivalent to S5. For refurbishment check, you can email the manufacturer.
But i can't deny the fact that imported phones are like lottery.
