I am thinking to switch to LG G3 from my Note 3..please tell me, is it worth it?
The main reason of switching is due to battery problems, and the fact that I have got the Verizon version, SM-900V which adds a lot of bloatware crap and has other issues such as hotspot not working. I have used the Note 3 for about 7 months now.

G3 is a great phone.
Look only for the D855 (International) model though. Otherwise you'll face the same problems you are with the Note 3.
Carrier branded devices are sh*t!

how actually was note 3? i mean performance, speed? battery time ?

Note 3 is great in terms of screen, display, speed, performance..only problems are with battery as phone tends to heat up with prolonged usage. .and as mine is the verizon version so it has carrier specific problems too.

The problem is that d855 is not easily available in the market. While Tmobile and atnt devices are flourishing.

SM-N900 is Samsung Exynos variant.
Only runs 3G.

SM-N9005 is the Snapdragon 800 variant. It has 3G and 4G capability. It also records 4K video.

SM-N9002 is Dual-SIM.

SM-N900A (AT&T), SM-N900V (Verizon) are US variants with locked bootloaders. Stay away from them.

SM-N900T (T-Mobile), SM-N900P (Sprint) are also US variants but unlocked bootloader. Only 3G works.

Download the app called 'Phone Info Samsung', it'll tell you if the device is refurbished or not.

I suggest the SM-N9005. Best variant.
Official international variant. Go for it if it's a good price.

Other options in 25k include Xperia Z2, HTC One M8, iPhone 5 and Galaxy S5 (US variant).

thank u very much for this information, it is very very helpful luckily I got Sm-n900 in around 8,000 lower then the market price as seller is sort of a friend too, he has also provided me with checking warranty. i using ufone so only 3G is good for me. I have checked it to the best of my knowledge and seems to be original. I have also downloaded the app 'phone info samsung' but I don't know what to read to confirm that phone is original or refurbished ? kindly tell me ?

I have used lg g3 D850 and I just bought note 3. G3 has serious issues of GPS connectivity (checked on sprint g3 ls990 too), it connects after a very very long time OTOH Samsung's GPS connects instantly.

That's just the CSC for the firmware installed on the phone.
If the phone is running 5.0, your friend may have flashed the update himself, hence it saying Russia.
Makes no difference in performance or anything.

Yes it's running 5.0 and I don't know about the flash update but it's working fine.

And if you do end up finding one, it'll be a stupid AT&T, Verizon or Sprint variant.

The prices quoted by these websites seem quite reasonable when compared to the prices in shops like Future Tech or Raffles. Approx Rs 66,000 for an iPhone 6 Gold 16 gB online compared to around Rs 80,000 for the same model sold at an authorized Apple reseller.

Verizon iPhones are factory sim unlocked, since they use CDMA (but verizon iPhone support GSM too) but check the bands for 4g compatibility.

At&t iPhones are a b!tch to unlock...the more recent the phone, the more expensive the unlock. In 2013, the unlock for the iPhone 5 was going as high as 10k+ due to At&t's crackdown on unlockers. Right now the cost is roughly $60...so should not be more than 8K in Pakistan.

There's no harm really if the seller is trusted/renowned. People say Daraz is reliable but I do not have any experience with them. One seller I can recommend is iShopping which has not let me down.
Although, if you have someone in the US then I would recommend shelling out another $100 and getting the 6s.

No one can be trusted nowadays, I'm a very frequent customer of Homeshopping and after a couple of recent purchases, I'm having doubts about their reliability and their so-called brand new phones.

However, the problems aren't thaat serious. The only problems I've faced are opened box and fake accessories put in and original removed.
I bought a Galaxy A5, fake charger and the SIM tray ejecting pin was missing.

So worst comes to worst, you'll have a brand new iPhone 6 with a fake charger and 200 rs fake Apple earpods.

Sadly, that's usually what happens nowadays in Pakistan. No one can be trusted, even people like HSN have started to disappoint.
