my samsung s3's network suddenly disapppears showing 'not registered on network'... i go inside settings and change to global and switch b/w all 3 options but it comes and goes away again after sometime. its an american verizon. should i go for a whole software flush and reinstallation from market or what?

Thanks for sharing.... well bro Power saving Mode is Already off ... usually phone runs quicker and faster.... but when we open any App like whatsapp or Facebook it takes almost 3+ Second to Display Content.. Cell phone Shows White Screen while processing which is very irritating... in mean while sms dialer contacts run smoother and Faster....

Is there some other issues behind it..? I tried to clear cache and restart my mobile couple of time but result same even if i reopen app several times...

My J5 takes 1 second to load the app and one to two more seconds usually to load the updates on Facebook, but I use mostly via UC browser (it even supports Facebook push notifications). Facebook and messenger app are heavy and takes ~150 mb ram all the time (even in background), so I don't use them.

WhatsApp is very light and takes one second maximum to load.

Maybe your phone is running out of ram. Just keep the phone firmware and apps updated and disable/uninstall the unnecessary apps. it will get better.

Exactly. Motorola are awesome phones.

I tested their 1GB ram Moto E 4G (2nd Gen) too for a short time, a ~$120 phone. It had USB OTG support, auto brightness sensor, noise cancellation mic, moto display (glance notifications), Gorilla Glass, 245 ppi display. It even played Asphalt 8 Airborne very well and I have never seen a 1GB ram phones running that fast, even in multitasking and heavy use. Some of the feature mentioned above are even missing in Galaxy J5 and J7.

Its running a very heavily skinned version of Android. Doesn't feel like Android.
If you're getting it really cheap, even then I wouldn't advise it.

Reinstall latest software via odin and then factory reset. S3 Verizon is CMDA device, it will not work as perfectly as you want it to be.

Wat would u people advice under 10k Other then Qmobile. Camera, bigger display nd performance is priority. Dosen matter if its old model or new.

Do you know how to use odin? from where to download samsung stock firmware? from where to download modems and bootloaders? which modem to flash?

I too once bought such an S3 with signal dropping issue but luckily I had a day to check so I returned. If you also have such option then do return otherwise you'll have to get it repaired about which I am hopeful.
