IMHO, It's best if you get a Google AndroidOne Phone, then.
AndroidOne is a standard introduced by Google with 1.3x4Ghz, 1GB, 8GB & 4.5" IPS Display that runs on COMPLETELY STOCK Version of Android Lollipop (Just like Google Nexus Series) and are illegable for 2 major Android updates... Hence, they can be upgraded to latest Android Marshmallow and upcoming Android 'N'...

Is there any 'affordable' smartphone available in Lahore with screen size around 5.5"-5.7" aka PHABLET?
I'm well aware of Galaxy Note Series but it isn't exactly budget friendly @ roughly 100,000 Rupees! I'm looking for something less than 20K.
Only phablet I managed to find was Qmobile V5 at around 9k but it's specs are quite low... Any other options?

Extend your budget 3-4k more and you can have a pin pack Asus Zenfone 2. It's specs are quite great considering the price.

Another thing to add about used or imported phones is, you never know they might be tested by some crazy YouTube guy, who hammered the screen to check the gorilla glass strength, water tested, drop tested it or some other crazy stuff [emoji1].

Was bought new in feb then the screen died a few weeks later which was replaced and currently the phone has a wifi problem

Looks like your phone was previously reviewed by some YouTube guy and then repacked and sent here as brand new [emoji1].

Keeping phone in back pocket usually does what you have mentioned, phone bending or display issues.

Since the phone is already unsealed, so fix the issues and also replace the chrome ring or (deliberately) fade it evenly, otherwise it won't sell for good amount. Make it in good working and physical condition atleast.

You're absolutely right, brother. Spot-on! Couldn't agree more...!
Just look at any used cell phone up for sale on OLX, and you'd most likely find scratches, cracks, dents & stickers everywhere caused by extremely rough usage... If not, then you'd find software related problems, which some (if not most) sellers don't even care to mention! Now, if you look-up Iphones, almost half of them are jail broken. If not, then you'll find that they're 'iCloud Locked' cause the seller forgot his Iphone I.D. Poor memory? I don't think so... How come so many people forget "BOTH" their Apple I.Ds and Passwords everyday? Likely Stolen, perhaps? Some sellers don't even post real pics. I spotted multiple phones with pictures taken from Wikipedia or from previous Advertisements of the same phone...!

Symbian series 40 or 60 phones will meet your requirements for good battery timings and large sms and call logs storage, though i have no latest knowledge about them.

You can check specifications of Galaxy Core Prime LTE (G361F) running latest Android 5.1.1 for ~12500.

Excellent condition sealed S4 doesn't sell for more than 20000 at max these days.

Battery spin test (to check battery swelling). Most people are already aware of it, but it may help others too.

Spin both sides of battery on flat surface. If it spins freely too much like this, its swelled and needs replacing.

Overheating, overcharging or physical damage mostly causes the batteries to swell.

You can replace 10 batteries and it won't fix the battery drain issues, if its taking wakelocks. Check for wakelocks first and also try phone in safe mode. Did you try wiping cache partition?

Most of the batteries in market are abused or fake. If the phone software is working good, then get original battery from service centre, not from an ordinary mobile shop.
