I thought the same until I bought z10. Their z series is really comparable to high end phones...otherwise Q is cheap and unworthy of buying

Yes it is.... I'm using s6 edge plus and it's huge as well, huge to some extent that I always fear I might drop it while reaching for status bar

But big screens with 2k sharp displays have their own perks

You onces posted that the battery issue started after heat wave of Karachi so if the battery physically got damage how app will help you BTW try keeping your in frige maybe it cancels the heatwaves effect lol

That was a lenovo and it developed some issue which was catered in warranty by the company

Yeah, you can change it (custom roms), but the one pre-installed is best.

If you are looking to buy a phone, don't go for Qmobile.

Restart the phone. It should help, as it just looks like a temporary software bug.

If it doesn't. Post the full battery stats, battery graph and also screen on time.

Also run the device in safe mode for few hours. If battery timings improve, battery drain is due to some corrupt user installed app. If battery timings stay same (no improvement) even in safe mode, then it could most probably be phone software, or even hardware issue (like damaged/dented battery).

Don't install clean master or any battery saver, it ruins the battery timings even further.

I guess Apple has spoiled me in terms of the perfect harmony between software/hardware as well as control over third party apps.

Apple has no match and it is simple the best, most probably because it makes very few models, so it can focus a lot more precisely on them. iOS is extremely stable, troublefree and optimised for their respective devices. It almost never corrupts or have any other issues like Android which is an OS full of troubles (for not so technical people).

I have tried WP10 previews on other Lumias, so I can say that WP10 UI is very good, user friendly and not as bad as the one on WP8.1. I hate WP8.1 UI, especially the action centre where you can keep only 4 items for quick toggles. In WP10, the action centre is just like android.

Lumia 540 turned out be better than i expected. The device is well built and optimised in terms of functionality, but the major problem is less apps. It is on WP8.1 as i am using it temporarily. Its camera, touch input and display quality is a lot better than Lumia 535. Windows store doesn't even have my favorite app "PushBullet".

Their A series had overheating issues, that would even damage the batteries.

Samsung A5 is the option in my mind. what do you guys suggest?
currently using huawei honor 3c from last about 2.25 years.

From Honor 3C, you can upgrade to these. These are very reasonably priced, great value for money phones, having exceptional performance and very good specifications.

1. Huawei P8 Lite
   A) slim, but it has squared edges, so could be a little uncomfortable to hold.
   B) It can run either 2 sims or 1 sim with 1 microsd card.
   C) Battery is small (2200mah), but still battery timing is sufficiently good, not bad atleast. Standby power consumption is slightly higher than normal.

2. Moto G Turbo Edition.
   A) I think it has no compass (not confirm). Compass helps in GPS Navigation by showing directions, and IIRC, i think you use Sygic, so it could be an issue for you.
   B) not very slim, but its extremely comfortable to hold due to its rounded back design.
   C) robust phone.

A5 is outdated, but there is A5 (2016) coming now which seems to be very stylish and has great specifications. I suggest waiting a bit to get A5 (2016) if budget is not an issue.

God, the A series are crap! I've been ranting about mine in this thread ever since I bought it, an A328. It's rooted, Kitkat'd, and have expanded the ROM to 11GB or so, but the hardware is garbage. The phone's response time is sluggish, the loud speaker went kaput within the first few months, the ear peice is on it's last leg, the camera is crap, the vibrator either works or goes dead, have to bring the vibrator back to life a couple times a day via a vibrate test app, battery is going kaput real fast (no over-heating issues), the charging pin is on it's way out, the music quality is utter utter bullcrap, oh yea it also wouldn't accept just any 3.5mm jack for the earphones, only older model earphones work, all in all, disappointing! And I'm the kinda guy who takes care of his things, if I want to put my phone on say a table, I would first place a peice of paper there and then rest my phone on that, so you can imagine how I use it. I'm waiting for it to die so I can get an Infinix.

Yes I chkd on gsm arena about A5 2016 (don't remember the expected launch date though), also my plan is to buy phone in jan 2016 end or feb start. So lets c what A5 2016 has to offer.
Btw S6 is 5.1" na? How's it? Why not this one?

Only if it wasn't such a big risk to use an iPhone out and about in Karachi.
Since I was using the 535 as my everyday phone I needed Snapchat and it didn't even offer that.
They've delayed WP10 now with no confirmed date. Saying early 2016. I understand that it's best to get rid of the bugs before release but it now feels like by the time it comes out it'll already be outdated.
