Can anyone confirm the price for replacing the screen of Samsung galaxy S3 and an S4. Both were dropped and screens are dead, but the phones are working perfectly with call reception and everything. Will be using one of them at least as a spare phone so need an estimate.

Might get another s4 if i spend more money .. but the s3 was a graduation gift so will get it done before screens stop coming in high quality ..

Once the original display is gone, the replacement is not as robust as the original one with gorilla glass, so it will keep breaking even on minor drops.

Fix S4 only, as repairing S3 is useless, its barely usable now. You can get a used panel too, as spending even ~5000-7500/- on them is not worth it, after seeing their market value nowadays.

Why not same spec phones with much lesser price? Why buy a Mercedes when you can have all fun with a Accord in much less money

Lol, bcz merc and accord have different build quality, shashka and belong to a different class.....

I'm not a fan of changing phones frequently; mehnga roye aik baar, sasta roye bar bar.....

Last but most importantly, accessories like covers, screen protectors are easier to find.

Well its doesn't seem like physically damaged charging when switched off when I searched net about the problem I saw the ppl complaints which were posted in 2011 when it was new so if its a common problem anyone would have solution for that @abid110 any idea?

Whoever quoted you is ripping you off.

You can get a lot of way better options now in latest released phones.

Xperia Z2 is ~1.5 year old from its release date btw, so its outdated and not worth the price!

Since Sony doesnt have any authorized distributor in paki (as far as i know) there is slimmest of chance that a dabba pack z2 will be available. Same was the scene with htc when all phones were used, rubbed/polished, shined, softwares reinstalled and then packed in dabbas, imies printed on local stickers to be put in dabbas and panni packing to make it high demanding in shops...my Htc was snatched in 2012 and it was in brand new condition, scratchless. I have no doubt it must have landed inside a dabba and panni and placed in a showroom for resale as a brand new.

So. An imported Mercedes with no history of anything in your hand cannot be better than even a brand new Honda Civic booked from Honda Atlas as you will be first owner with each and every thing in your knowledge and control.

Het a Huawei p8lite - it will be almost equally good and huawei have existence in paki.

Yoy can get z3 in this price which has a better display, build and is newer.

Z3 has same display as Z2 424ppi, RAM is same, memory is same, camera is same, so few k's extra for z3 is not worth it imo.

Yes both have same display on paper but z3 display is more bright and more optimized.
S4 and S5 too have same display specs but in real life S5 display has better color accuracy.
Specs dont cover brightness levels and color accuracy.
Check youtube comparisons....Previously I also used to think the same but not now, Z3 has corrected some short comings of Z2 thats why Sony marked it as an upgrade.

Q mobile Z10 matches all of them but its ream cam is 13mp and battery is 2900mah. I am using it and extremely satisfied. Not saying you should buy it though but just telling

4C has much better camera, ultra fast performance (irrelevant for daily usage) and also has compass (useful in navigation). Other than that, Vibe P1M wins overall.

P1M has bottom firing speaker, so no sound muffling on flat surfaces and also has backlit capacitive navigation buttons.

I would choose P1M over 4C for myself as i like solid battery timings. Decision is upto you. Btw, P1M is officially priced at 17900/-, but you can get in ~16000/- after bargaining.

95% of the phones do not have Gorilla Glass in this range. Their own glass is sufficiently strong enough.

Lenovo offers a purple coloured protective case (that creates a slightly raised lip around display for its protection), a good quality screen protector and USB OTG cable in its box. So there is nothing much to worry.

Why not get a slightly used Nexus 6? except for the camera, most things match and it should be reasonably priced. It was on sale till a few months ago, I am assuming you could get one for under 35k
