Yes, excellent value for money!. But i suggest you to do a little research on Meizu M2 and M2 note. Do not spend more than 20000/- on any Chinese imported phones as you will have to order replacement parts from AliExpress in case of repairs. So lowest spending is wiser.

Yes, excellent value for money!. But i suggest you to do a little research on Meizu M2 and M2 note. Do not spend more than 20000/- on any Chinese imported phones as you will have to order replacement parts from AliExpress in case of repairs. So lowest spending is wiser.

The last time I approached this thread was during my search for a smartphone. After much help from you guys, ended up getting the Galaxy S6 and have not yet regretted that decision.

I again turn to you for advise and assistance as now (for the first time) I am looking to buy a smart watch. I have checked various sources for reviews of all the current smart watches available in the market and have narrowed my search down to 2 - the Huawei Watch and the Samsung Gear S2 Classic.

Yes I have seen various critical reviews of both these contenders - mainly from people who are in favor of the Moto 360, but the flat tire is a huge turn off for me.

On the other side those who have reviewed (and owned) the Huawei Watch and the Gear S2 Classic, have really enjoyed it.

For the most part the usage that I contemplate for my smart watch are satisfied by both the Huawei Watch and the Gear S2 Classic, so now the question comes to picking either of the two. Plus both are priced about the same.

Since I am using the Galaxy S6, I feel that the Gear S2 Classic may prove to be an overall better experience. So I am tilting towards the Gear S2 Classic for now.

Suggestions and advise is welcome.

AOA guys....i have a bit of a noob question so please bare with me....

i recently bought Qmobile LT700 and i have this issue that the control center needs to be swiped up and when swiping up from the bottom i manage to touch one of the 4 fixed icons of phone,contacts,messaging and browser.
The slide menu at the top only displays the notifications

Now i used S2 which had both these things combined at the top......is the anyway that can happen in this new version lollipop

Buying phone from Ali express is a best experience I have made but always check with seller, set your buying product must have English language and also able to upgrade time by time. Grade of seller and rating with review feedback matters.

They are not available here. Very few people keep them but they sell at higher prices.

Best order it from there and request seller to make it less attractive for custom duty. They know how to do that!. Getting NOC is no big deal.

Custom duty almost never applies on these low priced phones.

Stock theme.
Stock (unrooted) and encrypted, but highly optimised.
Its standby power consumption is almost zero. It loses ~1% charge in ~8 hours full standby with dual sim and WiFi on.
At 25% brightness throughout which is equivalent to 75% brightness of its competitors.
Constantly getting 6-8 hours of screen on timings on it with 24-48 hours of charge.
With some AMOLED display optimisations for power saving (dark themes and wallpapers in most apps)

It has exceptionally great display, camera and battery timings btw. I bloated it with apps and 128GB MicroSD card and its still running strong like quadcore phone should, without any major hanging issues.

Lenovo Vibe P1M and Lenovo P70 have even better battery timings (4000mah) but their cameras are not too impressive.

Its 8GB internal storage is a major issue if you install games, torrents or too many apps, but its good enough for ~50 apps easily. Surprisingly, it doesn't hang in heavy usage. I can multitask easily between 4-6 apps. Overall, it performed way above my expectations.

1) Both are excellent choices and since both meet your particular requirements so you cannot go wrong with either of these. So now you gotta look on the style part too, as it should look good on you!.

2) Size and proper fit - Did you take their sizes into account? A little research on selecting the right size for watch is good, as it depends on your wrist size. You don't want a bulky oversized smartwatch if you have thin wrists!. Samsung one seems to be less bulky than Huawei one.

3) Looks - They both look premium and exquisite. Selecting the right colour depends on you.

4) Easily Customisable - So that you can refresh its looks on different occasions (formal or casual etc). I believe Huawei offers a lot more customisations, especially you can use both metal bracelets and leather bands.

5) OS - I hope you remember about the Tizen and Android based difference and apps availability of both. Gear 2 classic is more optimised for Samsung devices and apps btw, but it is compatible with other Android phones too.

3. Customizable. I did not like the steel bracelet of either watch (personal choice) so would be opting for the black leather strap for now. Also there are brands offering strap replacement for both watches. Perhaps a few months down the road i would consider strap replacement.

4. Tizen OS. I am currently using the Galaxy S6. So Gear S2 compatibility should be a plus. I do hear that there are glitches in the android wear app at the moment. Makes me opt for the Gear S2 even more. Plus i continue to remain an android user for the foreseeable future. So IOS non compatibility does not come into play.

Based on the above. I think Gear S2 would be a good buy for now. Keeping the future in mind too - the cureent Galaxy S6 would most likely be updated to the new S7 or the Note (if i can adjust to the size of it). Si even going forward the Gear S2 should continue to fair well.
