Looking at their past pricing strategies, they cannot launch a better specifications phone in just 23000/-. Even if they do, it will ruin market value of P8 Lite, and others. P8 Lite is still doing great in market. Honor 5X will most probably be ~27500/- (+-2500/-). They are now number 3 in global market share and now Honor 5X is coming here to compete against Galaxy J7. Its price will be closer to Galaxy J7.

The Honor 5X is actually coming to Pakistan
It really is a great threat to phones in its price range. People are even preferring it over the Moto G. However, since this is the first Honor device in the US, lots of reviewers are saying that the UI is pretty ugly and it's a bit laggy sometimes. But I guess they are just not used to it.

For me, the Honor 4C is still going strong. 2GB of RAM is just enough, camera is fine, battery is OK too.

US reviewers usually like iOS so no wonder for disliking emotion UI its normal for them.

The Americans hate Huawei and its EMUI to begin with. They cannot help it. There are ALWAYS bugs at the time of releasing IT related gadgets, it takes few software updates to fix that. Now they are cursing Honor 5X software right after its release.

Some noob reviewers, just to get some more views on Youtube even use pre-production or non retail units for reviews and then point out its flaws and then other junior noob reviewers present others reviews in their own way to get some views.

Huawei EMUI needs some improvements, but it is extremely optimized for smooth performance, there is no animations stuttering, no lagging or hanging issues. Whether its Honor 4C, P8 Lite, ShotX or even Mate S, they all run lightning fast in day to day tasks with barely noticeable lags or stutters. It takes sometime to get used to EMUI anyway!.

Even today, Honor 3C (2GB RAM), running in good software and hardware condition is still faster than many latest entry level phones, especially 1GB RAM phones that are always running out of RAM and closing apps in background.

Okay so I used the z10 for about an hour and I can give you my initial verdict.

First, build quality was good enough. The metal sides do give the phone a premium feel but the back plastic felt a bit cheap. The phone was also slim and light weight. 8/10

Second, display in 20k was great. It was sharp 1080p, had great viewing angles and was bright. But the display contrast was average, colors had a punch in them but black levels were not as deep. 8/10

Third, the software experience was not good. The phone was not optimised. There were occasional lags and things stuttered a bit like they were not fluid. It's vanilla android with a bit of qmobile customization, like one can tweak the scroll animation of homescreen or opening of launcher. The UI icons were also ugly. Though the hardware is good but qmobile seriously needs to work on software. One thing good though was that qmobile is providing bug fixes through software updates on z10 and that fixed the battery drain, which @s15 had mentioned earlier. Lastly phone had some useful gestures like if we draw C on lock screen it opens up flash and it also has double tap to wake and lock the phone. 5/10

Fourth, camera of z10 is capable enough. The phone took nice photos from rear camera. Pictures were detailed though the colors were a bit off and pictures seem to be a little bit noisy. The front camera is fantastic, it's great for selfies and front flash helps in low light. However, the camera interface was bad, it was confusing and a bit laggy though not a deal breaker. 7/10

Fifth, battery according to my cousin is good, it gives close to 4 hours screen on time. The battery is improved after the software update which z10 got right after the launch. 7/10

Lastly, in 20k range it is a good phone just the deal breaker is the terrible UI. If one can live with it by installing a launcher then this phone is great. It has all the features from LTE to dual sim and offers good display, build quality and camera in one package.

But, its 1080P display is great in stills only, it gets very blurry while scrolling (even in slow scrolling) in any direction. It has motion blur issues while scrolling or in motion.

Internet use is all about scrolling. Text and display getting blurry while scrolling down pages is the most awful thing a display can have and none of the HD resolution display have this issue in budget price. 1080P display resolution needs strong hardware and software optimisations to run smoothly, otherwise its a mess.

3GB RAM and 1080P display, which are the highlighting factors of Z10 are pretty much useless in practical use, i can assure you.

Did you notice any display blur while scrolling or in motion? I confirmed two Z10 having same issues.

It has 2 sim slots plus the micro sd slot which is actually very rare in a phone which is so justifiedly priced. Lte works so good. Battery seemed nighmare to me initially but it got fixed itself and now i am so much satisfied. Overall it gives such a good feel in hand.. But yes, i do not LOVE its ui and find it similar to huawei budget phones but still it is very good.. But yar 19000 me kya kya chahye! Overall its really nice

Its pricing and features perfectly justify its price.

Lookup above post, is there any display motion blur while scrolling? Compare your A6000 and Z10 display on scrolling.

I noticed it on one Z10, took it to Qmobile and he showed me another one with same issue, he said its same with all Z10s. However, comparing with Z9, he accepted that Z10 is more blurry than normal in scrolling.

This kind of blur while scrolling, its not that much as shown, but there is some. Can you please confirm it?

Yes it was blurry and this affect is known as ghosting. But it was not that much of an issue for an average user. It would be an issue for anyone who has used a higher end phone.

And agreed the 3 GB ram is just a gimmick. It might be helpful in multitasking but doesn't help in making the fluid or lag free.

But the 1080p panel was good in terms of the price of the phone.

Yeah for the price the phone is fine. Just UI needs more polishing, one can get rid of qmobile's launcher by another launcher but the lag factor is too damn high.

Honor 5X review, it has a lot more to offer than its competitors and even reviewers accepted that.

Honor 4C is the best phone overall in this price. It ticks all the right boxes and has all the necessary things that a smartphone should have in this price. In reality, Honor 4C is even better than Infinix Zero 2 in every aspect, but the internet and YouTube reviews say quite opposite.

I don't like Infinix for some solid reasons, but i give them a standing ovation when it comes to software optimisations and experience. Everything runs almost butter smooth, like huawei.

They are way better than Z10 in software experience and display quality. They also have no severe display ghosting issues like Z10, which does not happen in ANY other budget phones, even in their Noir S series.

Infinix Zero 2 lacks notification led though, but its camera is quite capable.

That's my short review. Rest he can guide better.

Yeh its software is quite smooth and it kept going better day by day as infinix is quick on providing OTA updates and the updates r constantly improving the performance.
