Suggest a good way to protect S6 Edge and LG G4 display.

Do curved tampered glass work on it?.

What about those jelly type screen protectors?.

I have been using them occasionally without cases, because cases ruin the in-hand feel, but now i want to protect the display atleast.

Display replacement costs and info.

A+ quality full display panel (alternative to original but not 100% original)

Its replacement is very difficult, so higher chances of ruining phone as lots of components need removal. S6, S7 and note 5 repairing is very difficult and not easy like previous models.

S4 rs. 7500 for full panel and rs. 2500 for front glass replacement only.
Its replacement is easy and not difficult.

Galaxy J5 rs. 7500
Its replacement is super easy as the display connector can be disconnected from motherboard from outside without opening any screws (there is external door to access display connector), so phone remains sealed, as the display is taken out from front side.

Iphone 6 front glass replacement only rs 4000 and full panel rs. 9000.

Market prices vary from time to time and place to place.

Hello everyone, i recently purchased galaxy s6 here in sharjah.
My question is how i can keep my phone protected/ tracked when i will go back to pakistan.
One is "find my mobile" feature. So do i also hv to keep location turned ON. so in case phone is stolen i can track it? Or what is the best way (except keeping phone at home )

There is price to smoothness ratio too!

I use Lumia 640XL on windows 10 mobile preview for day to day tasks along with Android flagships and it never made me feel that its strictly a lower midrange phone having just a snapdragon 400 chip. I see animations stutter slightly in many Android flagships, but never seen one in my Lumia. Multitasking is lightning fast, no hanging, no lagging in general day to day tasks.

When it comes to photos with flash, the Lumia rich capture with dynamic flash feature is something so awesome which is neither in latest Android flagship nor in iPhones. Its hilarious, my friends holding iPhones and latest Android flagships want me to take their photos in dim lights with dynamic flash, so that flash can reduced, removed, or added back to photo later as per their liking.

Windows platform has its own limitations, but lumia rich capture with dynamic flash, pro camera controls and price to smoothness ratio is where it shines a lot more than its competitors!

Well that's true but every thing has positive and negatives , I got two windows phones and believe me they don't lag or any thing but still something is missing in them , yes apps do lack on windows phone but still beside that there is still something missing , can't figure out either it's the lag or something , but they are still more best for daily usage

You can also install avast anti theft app.

You don't need to keep location on all the time, but even if you do, it will not consume significant amount of battery. When you remotely try to locate the device, it will turn on location service in phone automatically even if its off.

But do confirm on your model, as in mine find my mobile works if location is off.

Turn off location in phone and locate your phone with your laptop.

It's the truth about those die hard Apple fans who blatantly bash Android for no apparent reason.

iPhones used to have class and a real brand image back in the iPhone 4 era, with glass back and retina display, but ever since they lost Steve Jobs and have had this *** guy running the show, things haven't been the same.
Lack of innovation and copied features from other OS's. Literally the same specs and design every year with 1 minor change and a $200 increase in prices.

Yet their sales are skyrocketing by those real estate agents who own 4 iPhone 6S and buy new ones for their kids every time a new one is released, and that is why Apple is able to fund their pointless time wasting lawsuits against other manufacturers who actually know what they're doing.

This is my opinion, like it or not. Even Apple users know it's true. They can make as many excuses as they want but it will get them nowhere, especially considering how well Apple Maps works.[emoji14]

I have used, Many glagship devices before opting iPhone. Even i sold iPhone 4s within a week of buying it and then i purchased Galaxy S3. But once i regularly used iPhone, never bought Android phone as a primary phone.

Since Odin will get stuck at system.img every time you flash, you need to download the replacement of Kies.
It's called Samsung Smart Switch.
Download it. Connect your phone and hit the emergency firmware button. It'll re-flash your phone.

Activation Lock is like iCloud lock on Apple.

You sign into your phone with Samsung account, turn re-activation lock on and use your device.

If someone re-partitions the device, flashes stock firmware or does a hard reset, the device will not unlock until the Samsung account is signed on and Activation Lock is removed on the device.

I tried and tested myself on G900F.
It was on Lollipop, I turned activation lock on. Did a reset through recovery. Tried setting up the device, couldn't get past.
I re-partitioned the device, flashed and downgraded to KitKat, including the KK Bootloader, Activation lock remained ON.

Nothing worked, no way of bypassing until I signed in and the device unlocked itself.

Some Chinese variant of note 3 IIRC. It does not support Pakistani 3G/4G AFAIK, confirm its specs to see if it has support for 3G/UMTS/WCDMA 2100 and LTE 1800. If no support, then you will be stuck with 2G only!

Mostly, but whatever i told you is a major deal breaker, as it does not even support 3G and has its own other complications with signal issues etc (being CDMA). It will not even have much resale value. It may even have chinese written on its labels.

Note 3 mostly are refurbished, some are good, but most are waste of money unless you are expert in secondhand phones, best get its Pakistani or international version from some well known trusted person (acquaintance) who got it brand new previously.
