He have almost a budget max to 30k.
Options are
S4, s5, note 3, note 4.
Htc m9,
G4.
Advice a device which reflects an Optimum use of money.

Stretch it to 35k and go for g4 it's the best phone.

That's true, but latest midrange or even budget phones are now very optimised, have all the necessary features and can do most day to day tasks with no issues at all.

But if one is not an expert in getting these, then these outdated flagships give a lot of headaches too.

Plus, most latest flagships have nothing out of the box, unique or innovative, and are now boring with same old boring stuff, like great camera, great display, great performance, nothing more than that. No innovative or productivity stuff like Note 5 offers that actually makes life easier.

Manufacturers should now start to innovate features that actually make the life easier, more productive and efficient, like Note 5, which is the super best thing i ever had.

If you don't receive update via OTA updatethen don't update your phone. It will most likely be refurbished and can be bricked.

After using almost every budget phone, P8 Lite is still my most favorite Android budget smartphone even in 2016, because its camera is one of the very best in budget phones, especially dim light photo quality where most others fail to impress.

This is stunning feature!. I can see metering, AF, shutter speed control, and most importantly there is shutter priority mode too, to make photography easiest even in the most challenging situations.

Huawei Camera interface and professional controls are super easy to use (even for beginners) compared to latest Samsung Galaxys so called "pro mode" which is even missing a very important pro control like shutter priority mode, but since internet is full of Samsung fanboys so nobody brings it up.

I traded my P8Lite just because of battery. My Honor 6's battery is super. Gives me more than 5.5 hours sot on wifi and around 5 on 3g.

If it has automatically received the update then most likely it is not refurbished. @s15 can better explain how to check the refurbishment. Is your phone rooted? Is there any app named supersu?

Not yet . some people are suggesting to install some are saying . don't . it will lag .. I encountered another problem when i factory reset the phone . ear piece was not working during WhatsApp call . i again resetted the phone . the problem is solved now . but i m afraid if it reoccurs .
