Has anyone tried Sygic Maps? FYI, It's a 3D Navigation Maps that runs on TomTom Maps...

Sygic have old maps, currently google maps are best as they feature voice guided navigation as well.

Put wrong passwords few times (5-10 times) and then wait 30 seconds, it mostly shows forgot password option IIRC.

I have been spending more time on iOS and windows phone these days, so i am forgetting what i leant about Android!.

Help pls G3 was working fine with the mobilink sim . today i put ufone sim (ufone signals are comparatively less in my area but atleast it was receiving all msgs and calls with poor quality though ) g3 just acts so blank .. If i call someone 10 times it will say emergency calls only .at 11th time it will just dial for 2 sec and drops the call. Even qmobile was not doing any such problems (except of poor cal quality)

Bro just stay away from jv crap. It is a useless phone. You will face so many reception problems. The signal strength decreases. Also you can't update your phone.

Save some cash and go for factory unlocked. Its hassle free.

Hows the resale of G4? And any otherset with in range of 30k having a good resale value after 3 -4 months. I am advicing him to purchase used p8 lite in warranty. We today caught a shopkeeper,he was selling us refurb s5.

Imei starting with 99 in LG are said to have unlocking issues sometimes IIRC. But it maybe fixed by now.

Get the one with serial number starting with 6 atleast.

Basically, first three digits of S/N in LG indicate its manufacturing date.

E.g. 601 is 6-01,
6 = 2016 (year)
01 = January (month)

Like I got G4 H818P with S/N 604, which means its. 6-04, manufactured in April 2016. So very latest and fresh stock. LG many of the times has quality issues in early production cycle, so getting latest manufactured stock is better. Make sure that your Nexus 5X has no noticeable yellowish tint on display.

Once you know these things, you will figure out that most of the LG G2, G3 etc in market are refurbished and sold as brand new these days. They show 2013/2014 manufacturing date and still sold as brand new. If you lookup their previous history and activation dates, you will find that they are ~2 years old (used), then refurbished and sold as fresh brand new stock. And sometimes they are so messed up that they contradict their own S/N, IMEI number and its related info.

Depends on requirements. For solid camera experience, 4C, K3 Note, P8 Lite, J5.

In brand new, Lenovo vibe P1M, A6010, Huawei Honor 4C (best camera for its price), Qmobile LT700 (3GB RAM with 1.3 quadcore MT6735P processor with Mali T720GPU, and performance wise better than octa cores)

Their performance for basic day to day tasks is solid with no hanging issues.

Yes Lg g4 won't loose that much. Because it has no competitor in this range.

ADB method depends on root access or USB debugging enabled. Don't factory reset it, there must be an alternate available. @ihpwf12 help! Help!. I always configure sms based find my phone apps, so this thing never happened to me.

Open Android device manager on PC and request locking the device, send an mms to P8 Lite and it will turn on mobile data automatically for few seconds to receive mms, maybe the P8 Lite then receive locking request from google when the mobile data turns on for receiving mms. Did not try it, but just a thought, maybe it works.

There must be an alternate way or test code to be dialled via emergency call dialer to turn internet on, which i am not aware of. Service centre maybe of help.

IIRC, if you get it unlocked it from abroad (from carrier), then charges are very less for unlocking. But when buying iphones, be very careful about iCloud status, some people sell genuine 10/10 iPhones at very reasonable prices, but they have iCloud issues which they do not mention in ad.
