yesterday my lumia 435 got slipped in water so went to mobile shop and he said IC is dead replaced it and said phone ko charge kar lain for 4 hours then yeh set ho jaye ga. Silly me i did it but went to hi today that phone is not turning on. He then said that battery ka problem ho ga. sir jee then i went to another shop he said software ka probelm hai. Then i came home and my self flashed new software from windows recovery tool now the issue is that after installtion phone is getting till windows logo at startup but then restarts tried hard reset and flash new software couple of times but all in vain.

and now phone is not turning on now i m really in trouble now. help plz @s15

I think it's happening because you changed the ic and the shopkeeper may installed wrong ic for your phone

Badluck happened to you unfortunately.

Whoever you got your phone repaired is actually a butcher. Visit him again and tell him to check it with multimeter. He will check it by putting multimeter probes on battery connector pins and then will also do the same on motherboard to check what's wrong. Open circuits, short circuits or other issues etc are checked with multimeter, not by guessing or sniffing (like a dog).

In worst case scenarios, the processor could have gone bad.

Used Lumia 550, 640XL etc are better. They have dynamic HDR and Dynamic Flash feature, which is quite useful.

Could be, but get an eye test, check also if you adjust reading distance on phone or any printed matter.

Finally he purchased note edge in 34k. Phone with orignal handsfree only. The phone has one dent on lower right corner but screen is safe.so no worries.

For smartphones? I personally like MKBHD. For a more detailed review, detriotBORG and Erica Griffin. Android Authority is also good.

U should also check color tempurature of the phone the new ios update had that in my cousins iphone 6 so maybe its there with you too. Its a pretty useful feature. I also have it my honor 3 c

Galaxy S4 or Honor 4C used. Update it to latest Lollipop, then factory reset it. Honor 4C users who did not factory reset after Lollipop update had battery drain and hanging issues. Used Non warranty Galaxy J5 is also 12-14 easily, but if you can live with its 8GB ROM with no app installation or data downloading support on MicroSD card.

No 1GB RAM phones!

An easy tip to buy used or non warranty phones

Watch teardown/disassembling videos of your required phones, and while purchasing, pay special attention to those areas from where the set is opened/disassembled for repairs and LCD replacement. Checking screws only do not tell everything, as they can be replaced with new ones, or maybe hidden in non removable battery phones.

P.s, i was selling a friend's HTC M8 and one person acting over-smart kept checking non removable back cover fitting (not phone labels on back cover) repeatedly to see if the set is sealed or not. But in reality, M8 is opened/dissembled from the front side after removing stereo boom-sound speakers grills, and he did not check that specific area at all.

There are also certain models, that stay unsealed (untouched screws) even after LCD replacement.

So people should do their homework before buying used phones :).

@s15 Need to buy new phone for myself it will be used as my primary phone so range is around 20K this time and i m set on buying lenovo k5 plus as it has a full HD display and camera is also good for daily use. So need your suggestions regarding how is the overall performence of this phone as i have never used lenovo indepth. As being an huawei and samsung guy. Is it good phone compared to huawei?
