A good number of people i know are also not iPhone people. They just pretend to be iPhone people and just keep iPhones due to 'peer pressure' or 'Apple logo'. Ask any mobile shopkeeper friend and he will tell you this too.
Infact, one of my iPhone friend (noob) tells me that he is very satisfied with his iPhone 6 (2014) camera performance and he was not very satisfied with Galaxy S6 (2015) camera performance previously. So a lot of placebo effects of false satisfaction come to iPhone users mind. (No joke)
However, it's all personal preference at the end.
