I have S8+, much larger display than any similar footprint phone without added heft.
UI is cleaner than previous galaxy iteration but added features are more like additional apps instead of being integrated properly so I feel there's too much bloatware but again, it might be normal as I'm used to Vanilla / ASOP builds.
Primary Camera though retained from S7, I've heard has received a lil tweaking, since I don't have experience with S7 I can only compare it to iPhone 7 plus and it is a better camera than Apple's, selective focus works better than Apple's portrait mode if good amount of light is available and tries to work even in low light where Apple refuses.
Front cam has a bit of fisheye effect like my body seemed too wide compared to my face but nonetheless, it made even tiny specs of dust and some blackheads clear enough on that infinity that I wanted a facial instead of capturing a selfie. somebody told me that I might have beauty feature on for a slimmer face profile but no, it does have a bit fisheye due to extra wide aperture or something.
My phone didn't have any tint issue, though i've heard it is a mere calibration issue and a firmware update is being rolled out already to fix it.
Performance is awesome though mine is qualcomm version, you can change display resolution (3 options) for awesome viewing experience or better performance and battery time, I could only discern the difference between lowest and middle setting through my naked eye, haven't experienced VR content yet.
Battery timing is good enough for me, under average use I have more than 50% left 10-12 hours after plugging it out, during the days I was using it heavily and checking the features i still had 25% left, used power saving mode just once for half hour since I've had it. turning off Always on display and other things could make it last two days easily for me.
