Huawei has best cameras in midrange overall, even better than Samsung midrangers, Oppos are better in front camera, but trust me overall it's an cheap iPhone copy.

Xiaomi does not excel in cameras, they are good enough, but they make so many mistakes. Output is inconsistent, Sometimes washed out colours, sometimes over saturated colours, sometimes warmer white balance, sometimes colder white balance. Missed macro focusing, not so good low light camera performance either

Auto mode, it picked warmer white balance and ruined the shot.

Picking significantly wrong WB is its favourite camera feature.

Manual WB in manual mode (kids mode) to reflect what the scene was actually like.

However, once you post photos on social media, nobody cares about WB, image quality etc.

I have bought Xiaomi redmi Note 4X from China. I wanted to have one with global ROM but it wasn't available. Salesman said you can flash it easily.

Now I want to flash global ROM, but phone was locked. Somehow I unlocked it.
Now there's no recovery mode.

Can you guide me please...

Pre water resistant iPhones could be checked for water exposure by looking inside the SIM card slot. There's a dot which when white shows no exposure to water.

Nope, you do not need to visit franchise for sim blocking. Just call them again at 333 or 03311333100 (from non Ufone number) and tell them that your sim, biometrically registered on your name, is lost and you want to block it. They ask verification questions and then block it. Guaranteed!

For getting duplicate sim, you will have to visit a Ufone franchise, or mini franchise.

At my village, there is a small mobile shop who has laptop and bio metric reader, he is not a proper franchise, but still he does authentic work for all companies duplicate sim provision, new sim and other relevant stuff.

Your village must be having some similar shop if proper franchise is not there. Ask people there at your village.

Piston compressor is old technology, now obsolete.

It used to be in Window ACs and very few Split ACs had them. Piston compressors are super duty compressor, that suck more power, but are designed for most extreme climates (upto 52C, their cooling is awesome).

We had them because i used to live in an area where temperature would stay 45-50C regularly in summers and we had single story home, so Inverters compressors would not work at all there, since they were designed to operate upto 43C as per their user manual.

Your best bet is to now buy AC with DC Inverter compressor.

I tried the procedure mentioned in the flashing guide but it would not verify update and reason for it was that unofficial ROM are not allowed. Come on. I am flashing the global ROM downloaded from Xiaomi official website....

now Xiaomi has locked their phones bootloader probably like iPhone. You need to ask for permission to unlock it. So asked for permission, permission granted through SMS. Had to wait for 48 hours bonding time to unlock.

Tried the guide procedure again and this time there reason for not verifying was "other reason"

And there there is no recovery mode by default and some "twrp" thing has to be installed...

I wonder will the miflash technique work for me...?

On Daraz.pk price is 23,299 and on Meezan bank its 22,299Rs the big discount is only for SCB that i don't have..

You have to wait now. Have patience, you did most of things right. Those methods are guaranteed working, you just need to check which works best for you.

Now i run away from those stuff. My friend was willing to send me 100 Redmi Note 4x for this same issue with very good payment, said no to this headache xD.

Zong Customer Experience Centre that have Xiaomi on display for thorough exploration in Blue Area.

Price is Rs. 14,500 and Rs. 13,900/-. At my time, Xiaomi had very nominal discount margin, so expect Rs. 500/- maximum discount. Buying it online is cheaper.

Getting it new is not feasible​. Since you can get better camera phones in same price, like Lenovo K6.

For me, too, the 16 GB internal storage was not a big issue and i , too, wanted a good looking handset and hence honor 8 lite looked like a good buy. The concern about this phone, however, is that it's front and back glass panels do not seem to have much protection and hence the phone is likely to receive scratches or even breaks in the glass panels with regular use. A review on youtube of honor 8 (by jerryrigeverything) found that it had a screen that scratches more readily than other similarly spec'd smartphones. This is why Lenovo zuk z2 seems a better phone as its front and back panels are gorilla glass protected and it also has a superior processor and more internal storage. However unfortunately this does not seem to be available in Pakistan at the moment. The price is right because in the international market zuk z2 can be had for around 200$ which is exciting.
