It lags at very heavy games only, that too at highest graphics. Set it to medium and it works ok.

General performance, solid.

The reason is weak GPU and FHD+ Resolution.

No good deals, all headaches. It's just minor difference at the expense of many headaches they give you later on.

It's funny to see that people cannot distinguish between a midrange and flagship.

They spend 40k+ on midrange phones and get disappointed that's it's not as great as flagship.

Midrange, even costing 40k+ is like 1000cc hatchback and a flagship, even 2 years old, is like 1800cc fully featured top variant sedan.

I heard from reviews initially that Xiaomi is bad with updates. It's slow with major updates indeed, but overall it keeps providing security patches regularly once every two months, even to their most basic phones, which is more than awesome, considering that budget phones very rarely (almost never) get updates.

Like even Redmi 4A gets an update once a month or once every two months. I just checked my old Redmi 4A and it's on September 2017 Android security patch level, which is pretty good.
