IIRC, Samsung sets purchased before Nov 2017 are covered in accidental coverage. Onwards, nope. Note 8 came in Nov 2017.

To summarize; a guy in Britain sent his phone to Apple for a battery replacement. Apple E-mailed back stating that they have to fix a dent on the edge of the phone first (For £200 / Rs.31,615) to be able to replace the battery for £25 / Rs. 4,000.
