anybody having exp with ordering a phone from ALIexpress?? because phone there are the same which we have in our country but almost half of the price for example new honor 9 price in Pakistan in pkr is 56000 & on Aliexprees on can easily find for $300 i.e not more then 35000 rupees with delivery to Pakistan,that's a huge difference even the honor 10 is cheaper then new honor 9 in Pakistan,my question would that be delivered to our home or we would need some custom clearing for it
Also any suggestion for good phone in budget of 35k??

Try using without a case and then see, but from what you told, it seems motherboard (some shorting) or processor fault. Get it checked. They will connect meter with its battery terminals and it will instantly confirm if it's hardware or not.

If you use in AC room, it will work reasonably ok but get hotter than normal.

If you use it outdoor or heavily, it will get super hot 70-80C+ and thermal protection system will activate, resulting in phone turning off or restarting in bootloop.

Thermal protection does not activate in normal cases, unless you use it brutally outdoors or there is some issue in hardware.

CPU Z app > Thermal . It will show phone temperature in detail. Please note the readings when phone is in standby and getting hot. It helps a lot.

Phone getting warm on standby after reset is a good sign hardware is faulty.

Mine s8 screen cracked its warranty set. there is no accidental coverage with it, does normal warranty card means accidental coverage? Please guide

It doesnt. U can get the screen changed from the service center, ur warranty wont be void. U will pay all the charges

Add approx 3-5k rs custom duty cost to it. Look in AliExpress thread. Ppl have share their phone import experiences. You have to apply online to PTA for "type approval" once customs sends you letter of having your phone.

It's a risk.

Besides; there will be no official warranty and then there's always a chance of scamming and you might end up getting a fake counterfeit product.

Then there's custom taxation and other charges. You'll have to get that phone cleared from The GPO and if the phone is not PTA approved then you'll have to... Well, do illegal things to get it 'cleared'!

Go past all that and even if the phone turns out to be genuine; there's a chance that it won't work with our cellular networks due to difference in radio band frequencies.

Brother, if it was that straightforward and simple then a LOT of people would be making a living off of it and making millions!

One won't find a flagship Snapdragon 800 Series SoC, DDR4X RAM, G.G 5, solid build quality and FHD Display for 36k with future pure Android updates!

Compare it to Mate 10 Lite and the difference is obvious with 180,000 score on Antutu (3 times better than M10L), better build quality, better thermals thanks to 10nm SoC and a superior camera.

SD 835 is useless

No dual cameras (camera average) and no 18:9 screen, so what's even there?

P.S Nokia 8 does have a dual-camera 13MP x 2 f/2.0 camera module with Carl Zeiss Optics! It may not beat The S9, Pixel 2 or iPhone 8 but its head and shoulder above Chinese mid-range phones like Mate 10 Lite (Which I find overrated).

And as for Snapdragon 835; it has recently appeared in laptops and can handle Windows 10 for Desktops with buttery smooth performance and nearly 18 hours of battery life thank to 10nm Kryo processor! So no, it's far from USELESS, brother!

Yeah whatever you said totally makes sense & I had these similar thoughts but they guarantee money back gurantee if the product is not orignal also they give the retailer thumbs up & rating that does'nt translate into real world at all?.

It's a gamble, at best!

I'd suggest you to buy a cheap GSM feature or a flip phone first as an experiment if you're that committed to the idea.

ok that seems a good suggestion I talked to a representative of aliexpress not robo & she told me that there is nothing like that the products of sellers are not authentic they're always authentic & if its not then we will be refunded or even if the customs don't get our phone cleared that phone will return where it came from.
she also said for self satisfaction we can ask for documents for authentic products confirmation
the only issue right now is I have no idea regarding customs if i would need a agent for clearing then there is chance phone cost will increase almost equal to what we have here.but I will order a small phone first

Finally found a helpful article regarding the complete procedure of importing a phone from Ali Express:

The complete process

1. Order a phone using your VISA debit/credit card. – I have used Standard chartered, UBL wiz card, and MCB lite card without any problem.
2. Wait for the letter. You will receive the letter from your shipping company, or Pakistan Post.
3. Once you receive a letter, send NOC request to PTA by an email, you will receive the NOC within 2 weeks.
4. Once you receive the NOC, give a copy of that NOC to your shipping company. If you have selected Standard shipping, go to Pakistan Post and give them the NOC, they will give you the phone right away after paying custom taxes. If you have selected DHL or any other method, your phone will be delivered to your home within a week.
5. Don’t forget to show off your new phone.

So... It's best to apply for The NOC, make payment via Visa Debit/Credit card and choose standard shipping instead of a private courier company (DHL, TCS, UPS, Leopard etc) as they'll charge you a TON of cash! The author of the aforementioned article was charged 9,000 Rupees by DHL for importing a low-end Xiaomi Smartphone but the phone was delivered to his doorstep with all customs paid!
